It’s a nice mix of a competitive game and language practice. These ones are based on phonics, so teacher supervision is needed during the game to correct pronunciation. I use the Q&A cards as well and they’re great.

I tutor elementary children during the summer and this is a fun way to see what they already know and what they need to practice. It’s also a fun way to review skills. The 3 levels are great. These are a good fit for skills taught in K – 2nd grade. I remove the “extra cards” like change direction, jump, pick one, and change color because they aren’t really necessary when playing with only 2 people. This also helps keep the game moving.
