I had no problem setting it up. I was worried as a lot of reviews mentioned how hard it was to set up. I had it programmed within 30 minutes and it’s working great. I can open the app and check my oil level, set my run time, shut off time and how many days I want it to run. It covers all the open areas of my home. But I would need another for my bedroom . I have had for nearly a month and it’s working g great. If a problem should arise I will update.

Really easy to use. Large display. Audio for people who might be visually impaired. Gives you an error message if you have not properly put it on your arm. Comes with batteries which is a plus. You can also upgrade your warranty by scanning the bar code.

I like it. I like that there is an audio to read out your reading and tell you if your range is normal.
It allows two users to log their readings and it keeps it in memory.
It’s not difficult to use but not super easy either. I use the included batteries but I know that if you keep batteries in too long in any device it eventually starts to leak. Taking my pressure isn’t something I do all the time so I worry about leaving the batteries in and then it leaks. So if I remove the battery and put it back before I use it again I have to reset it (date, time, etc) and so I keep needing the booklet. I haven’t used the included cable but it’s too short for where I would want to keep the device.

A Great Blood Pressure Monitor and Excellent Support from Alcedo
I received the Monitor and it was nicely packaged with reasonably good and accurate directions. However when I tried to use it, I got nothing. I finally connected it to the computer with the USB cable and bingo it was working! Apparently the batteries they sent with the unit were dead. I had emailed the company and they responded immediately and remedied the situation. Outstanding customer service!
The unit itself seems to be well made. It plays music and tells you to relax! LOL! It really does help. It speaks and gives you the reading afterwards and tells you whether it is normal or high etc. Overall, my initial response to this unit is that it is a great value and reasonably accurate.
Details: You can set the date, time, etc and two profiles. I haven’t checked yet, but I assume you can download the profiles to the computer. It comes with batteries (which may or may not be any good) and a USB cable. It comes well packaged and with a case. Keep in mind that you are supposed to keep your legs uncrossed and your arm relaxed at heart level for the blood pressure measurement. Not doing this will make your reading inaccurate if not quite a bit off.
Based on the excellent customer service, the quality of the monitor and the fairly decent directions and results that I am getting, I give this unit five stars. The one drawback is that the 4 AAA batteries do not last very long in the unit given that it is fairly sophisticated and plays music and talks. It is best to plug it in using USB!

Reliable and easy to use
The Alcedo blood pressure monitoring cuff came well packaged and in great condition. This unit is easy to use, just push the start button, the voice tells you to relax, and the cuff starts to inflate. After it reaches your pressure level, it tells you what your reading is and the range that you are, such as high or normal. It also reads your pulse indicated with a heart symbol. I have been in both in the high and normal ranges as I monitored my medication so I appreciated this feature.There is also a booklet that explains the numbers and what each is measuring. I like that it operates on batteries or can be plugged into a wall unit. For the price and features I feel this has been a great value and has helped me stay on top of my blood pressure levels.

I absolutely love this blood pressure cuff because it gives exact readings, it keeps my prior readings and so much more. It is not too tight on my arm. It is overall worth the money. I highly recommend I still have it and I still use it! 🙂

As said above easy to use. The best feature is you donât need batteries to work the machine. You can use USB cable with a power bank. My previous machine kills the batteries in no time.
Also the machine talks to you. It is consistent with the readings close to each other
The only thing that worries me is accuracy. One day Iâll take to my GP and compare the readings.

I had to return another BP monitor for failing after 3 uses and the screen was faulty – it was in the £17 price range – I opted to spend a bit more this time and I got this version with the batteries/mains cable and the carry case – it was around £21. I can immediately tell its better quality – it feels solid with a good quality cuff and hose -these wont break or deteriorate any time soon. The case is good quality and I need it more than I thought. The big thing for me was the instructions – The quick start guide specifically – nice and clear, no grammar/spelling errors, large enough to be clear and understandable and is very easy to follow. They do provide a full product description in addition but you don’t really need it, but the quick start guide is large and separate. I have used it now several times and works quickly, fairly quietly and then can be stored away neatly in a cupboard. If you are feeling swamped with the volume of the monitors around this price range – this one I recommend.

Having diagnosed with high blood pressure and using a machine provided by my GP I s decided to purchase my own.
This product is so easy to use and provides the exact same readings as the one that I borrowed.
It even provides soothing music whilst the test takes place and tells you the catagory of the result. I’m very impressed and would highly recommend this product

I like this BP machine for the accuracy and easy to use. I was worried because I thought it would be difficult to use if there’s no one around to help but I was wrong. The arm band slids on easily and easily adjustable. Nothing complicated about it. Not only do you have visual for the reading but it talks also, so it’s great for the visually impaired. For me, the beauty of it is that, it allows me to adjust my blood pressure medication. It’s definitely a great buy

I bought this after a bout of illness when a doctor suggested I monitor my blood pressure. I can’t compare the actual readings, but knowing that (at a later appointment) my blood pressure was Ok, it gave me an idea as to where I was. I was then asked to monitor my readings for a month, so I set up an excel graph for ease of viewing. Contrary to what others have said You can turn off the the annoying sound. But when you change batteries (which it goes through quickly) it reverts back to factory settings and the sound is back. 2 annoying things are the item switches on again when putting it in the case, I had to remove a battery to stop this everytime I used it, and the tube easily pulls loose when using it if you’re not careful resulting in an E4 error.
