Dandy little unit! I like this a lot
Does what it’s supposed to do. It’s really quick (1 second read). Great, brilliant display. Auto turn-off at 30 seconds. Light weight, well balanced and ergonomic. Turn it on with one button, press the test button and yer done. PLUS, it’s No-Contact so you don’t need to clean the sensor as often and there’s no subject cross-contamination. Aside: The only problem with temp units and BP cuffs is that you have NO way to determine if they are accurate and calibrated correctly. So I have 2 thermometers and 2 BP cuffs and test them against each other. THIS is a very nice little unit at a very reasonable price. It’s a keeper at my house.

Pretty good, varies A LOT
UPDATE: totally inaccurate. I was checking my child’s temperature (who was obviously sick and very hot). I got all sorts of readings, from the same spot, taken right after another…temps ranged from 98.9 to 102.3. HUGE difference. The search for a forehead thermometer continues :(With kids, this kind of thermometer is the way to go. However, this particular one is a little iffy. I always do three or more checks at a time to kind of average them. I do wish it had a no noise button, because the beep is pretty loud. I had a different one, but it broke, and it was more accurate and had a no noise option.
