Bought this to dry my locs at home after I wash and retwist myself and it works great. The cap is tight and left a mark on my forehead but my locs were 95% dry after 30-45min on high heat.

I can remember my mother having one back in the 70’s, I wasn’t sure if they still made them. Surprised they did! Going through the old ladies curse right now “menopause”!! I’ve noticed my hair is starting to get dry so I purchased some conditioner that requires heat.I bought a pack of thermal caps as well so I wouldn’t get any conditioner inside the hairdryer cap. I’m sitting underneath it now ð one thing if your using the high setting watch out!! The hose does get hot!!! I have very long hair and have it in two clips on each side of my head so it definitely fit all my hair and two clips inside the cab, it’s really easy to use, it is drying my hair quickly, the noise is just about the same as it would be if you’re using a regular hair dryer and the size is perfect I can put it underneath my bathroom cabinet when I’m done!! It’s made pretty well and it’s got a long hose to it so you can sit back on the couch and relax.

It is mobile like I wanted. It heats OK (2 levels.) The elastic in the bonnet is short and too tight. The plastic container is awkwardly designed and appears cheaply made. It is sticky to open, but that may improve with use.

It is about the size of a 13inch laptop. The hose pops into the hood. I was trying to screw it in. Gets hot, but not too hot where your ears are burning. Has two settings, low and high. Air flow is good, not too loud.

This dried ur hair but thatâs about it, let me explain.I bought this because I wanted a better alternative other than blow drying my hair with the comb because I have relaxed hair and I find that I was shedding a lot of hair when I used the blow dryer with the comb attached.I was my hair and used this device to dry my hair and my hair looked a hot mess. It was matted it looked dry. It look dull and brittle. I canât tell u why that was but I almost thought thatâs how my natural hair look.The hose piece that u attach to the hood it self can not come out once u attach it make it impossible to actually close the device and store it away. Also a piece that didnât really have much purpose came broke off.I returned this device because of how dry and brittle my hair felt after drying. It didnât matter that I put moisturizer in it I felt like this device could do heat damage. I canât explain why is that.Any ways couple days later I decide to wash my hair all over again using my same products but this time I took the time to detangle ny relax hair in sections real gently before I apply my blow dryer with the heat!And my hair came out looking healthy, bouncy, shiny and straight. I figured out all I have to do is section my hair and gently come the tangles. I already was sectioning my hair but I didnât pre de-tangle my hair. And it turned out great I didnât lose as half as much hair like I use to. This device wouldnât surve me much purpose

I love this dryer! Itâs super easy to use, and because I have long thick hair it can take forever for my hair to dry, but this is so convenient Iâm able to do other things while my hair dries!

hooded dryer -does not work properly
I used this hooded dryer for when my hair is rolled and I want to dry it.I use it weekly. It worked fine the first at first. Now when I turn it on and runs for one minute then cuts off for 10 minutes, then cuts off after 1 minute and stays off for 10 minutes. this continues the whole time.It does not work properly. I was going to return it but its a few days pass the return window. so now I’m stuck with a faulty hair dryer.

Iâm glad I got this. For home use itâs great. Donât expect salon results but it certainly does the job. Ive been using it for six months . Easy to use. Easy to travel with it. Iâve packed it in my luggage for air travel. Great dryer.

After using it about 10 times, I now I need to be careful as the hose comes out of the cap easily. Also, Iâm not sure why, but my long hair never dries completely. I have fine hair and Iâve tried all sorts of different ways of putting it in the cap and it just doesnât dry.
