Really warm and soft
These socks are so comfortable I wear them all day and all night. They keep my feet warm even on cold tile floors and I am able to get good nights sleep because my feet are comfortable. These make winter bearable for my old bones.

Got these for myself. I am always on the lookout for comfortable socksPros:-Definitely soft and comfortable. They go on easily, have good cushioning and feel good on my feet.-Decent elastic to stay up. Don’t ride down my legs easily and stay on the feet well.-Decent choice of colors. I got all black, as I don’t want to hassle so much with trying to pair the socks after washing.-70% Merino wool (no way of verifying this), which is WAY higher than many “wool-blend” socks. Always check for the composition of the material before purchasing.Cons:-Kind of small on me (I have a size 13, so this is not uncommon).-Wish they had a little more elasticity on the upper leg and went up a bit further.Overall, these are great socks, especially for the price point. I have paid more than this for just one pair of socks. I will have to see how well they hold up, but so far, I am very pleased.

Good, plush socks
I pretty much only wear merino wool socks for crew socks. (Not for summer when I wear no-shows). I have a lot from several different brands. These are some of the softer feeling socks. They are not thick in the way winter boot socks are. I would describe them as plush, or maybe of medium thickness. I also like their appearance. I wear size 12, and sometimes the socks a I order feel a little small, but I don’t have that problem with these. They have a lot of stretch. The toe seam is small, but I thought it felt a little sharp at first. When I actually wore the socks, I quickly forgot about that, and it wasn’t an issue. It softened slightly after being washed. All in all, these are pretty nice socks. They are some of the better socks I own, and 4 pairs for the price they are asking is a good deal for the quality of the product.

Best socks I own
For the holidays, I ordered myself two sets of Merino wool socks. I have been wearing alpaca socks for about 5 years. I really like them, and they’re great for hiking. This is my second set of Merino wool sock. They are amazing!! They are much better than my other set. First, they’re very soft. Second, I love the heather look. Third, they’re super comfortable and fit with all of my shoes, including my dress shoes! Which is fantastic as I live in the Midwest in the winter. These are in the daily rotation, and my other set from a different brand is in the hiking only pile. I would definitely recommend these socks! They are as good or better than my alpaca socks.

Great Socks
I ordered this pack of Anlisim Merino Wool Warm Boot Hiking Socks to wear on cold days.Nearly all of the socks that I own are short. They are perfect for when I’m wearing tennis shoes (which is 99% of the time) but not so great when I’m wearing hiking boots. First, they don’t cover enough of my foot to prevent the boots from contacting bare skin. Second, they aren’t thick enough to keep my feet from freezing. These socks solve both problems.The socks are nice and thick without being scratchy. They are long enough to act as a barrier between my foot and my hiking boots. They are warm. So long as I’m moving and not just standing still in one place, my feet do not get uncomfortably cold. I haven’t had a chance to try these with snow boots yet, but based on my experience so far I expect them to perform well.

Nice warm Merino wool, medium thickness and very comfortable to the touch.
Well, the product description calls these “extra thick”. I think they are closer to medium thickness, which means you can comfortably wear them, without discomfort, in more formal shoes (excluding the tight- fitting Italian leather shoes, that is).These come up just short of mid-calf and have a very soft feel. They are made out of 70% Wool, 23% Polyester, 5% Spandex, 2% Nylon, which is a very, very nice blend in my opinion. The wool provides warmth, the polyester provides durability (and vibrant colors), and the spandex gives you stretchability making them easy to put on and take off.Very nice socks, I would like them just a bit longer, but not a deal killer by any means (I have long legs at 6′ 3″.5 stars, on this one, at a very nice price for wool socks!
