Amazing primer and sunscreen
First, Iâm on camera for work a lot as I WFH. I present to customers, to our executives and to other conpanies. I have a ring light on at all times as I can also be recorded for webinars. I use this as a primer and sunscreen. Iâm abit on the light to medium skin tone and I use this on top of well moisturized skin. The white cast does go away. You have to prep and if you donât youâre going to leave the poor reviews as Iâve read them here. This is my 5th bottle according to Amazon and itâs the best for work. It truly leaves a wonderful glass skin affect under a light touch of foundation, concealer and blush. On the weekends, Iâll use a Korean chemical sunscreen like Skin1004 or Roundlab.

Did its job, unsure if any much better than other sunscreens though.
TLDR- Everything worked well, however whether or not it leaves a noticable whitecast is up for debate.Overall, it did its job as a sunscreen, but regarding its extra abilities listed. Such as not giving a white cast, when first using, the color of the cream was more of a darker pink, and when spread on the skin, it’s suddenly white. It definitely made my skin much paler, to the point I did feel like I looked ghostly white- I hadn’t even used a whole finger length. It took about 15 minutes to see it start fading into my skin more naturally. Rubbing it in, it had an almost chalky like feeling to it, like most sunscreen creams when you’ve spread it. After an hour of being out with my friend, I asked their opinion, and they did say I looked much paler- but not sickly white, it just seemed I lost any tan I had. It definitely did a good job regarding a matte finish and absorbing any oils, throughout the day, I did not feel or see my face become visibly oiler, even after almost 12 hours of wear. Has a slight floral scent to it, my did did not breakout or become irritated, the cream did feel a little thick. Kinda did feel like an extra layer of skin, but I wasn’t too bothered by it.

The pink (tone-up) is a tinted sunscreen fyi
One of the only sunscreens that doesn’t break me out and I love the high spf. It’s nice that it’s also a primer for my makeup. The pink (tone-up) is a tinted sunscreen. Korean tinted sunscreens have a light pink tint to them (instead of tan). I don’t notice it because I’m pale af but if you have dark skin you definitely will. This version is matte but not too drying perfect for my combo skin. The orange and blue versions leave no white cast so I recommend those too. I gave it four stars because they need to be more clear about this being tinted it’s not mentioned that it is.Get tone up (pink) if you have:ð©· Light skinð©· Tan skin and plan on wearing foundation over itð©· Oily skinTry original (orange) or gel (blue) if you have𧡠ð Medium to dark skin𧡠Combination skinð Dry skin

Not great for dry skin
Even with a good moisturizer this product clung to my dry patches and blemishes, left a heavy a white cast (which is probably the tone up effect), and pilled quite a bit even without anything on top of it.I really tried patting this into my skin, not using too much product, making sure my skin was exfoliated and as hydrated as possible but I just couldnât get it to look good on me. Even on my very pale skin the white cast made me look sickly instead of even toned. Maybe the product could stand to be less thick and opaque and more liquid and sheer?I can see this maybe working for someone who doesnât need to layer makeup over this, has very oily skin, and wants to have a pretty intense whitening effect on their face. Essentially someone with a skin type and goals very very different than mine. Even then I believe that for most people there are easier to work with options on the market.On the positive side this product didnât have any bad smell, did not burn my skin, came in perfect condition, and was not irritating in any way.

Reliable Sunscreen + Extra Perks!!
I initially purchased the Apieu sunscreen with the orange bottle and loved it. When it ran out, however, I hurried to Amazon to repurchase – only to realize there were more options under the same brand! Hurrah! I decided to give the pink bottle a try as Apieu is a must before my makeup routine. So far, itâs been over a week and no regrets!! I can see a difference right after application and strong sun protection is always a must for anybody trying to keep their skin healthy and even!PS: Please note that this product should not be caked on carelessly as the pink tone will be very noticeable. Apply as needed and rub in very well until fully absorbed before applying your makeup (or even going barefaced ð ) and you should be good! Thank you Apieu!

Best tinted moisturizer EVER
This tinted moisturizer is my Holy Grail and I wear it every day. I am very fair skinned and it evens out redness and keeps shine at bay while still keeping my skin moisturized. I was worried that the scent would irritate my skin but it doesn’t at all. I am obsessed with this stuff. It also goes well under make up but I usually just put only this on in the morning with mascara and am out the door.
