Good, solid boots.
I have been wearing these boots for at least 20 years.I started with one pair that had weak lace hooks. When I broke the lace hooks, they replaced half worn out boots with new ones for free. Awesome. Then I bought a more expensive pair with stronger lace hooks. Perfect!!!Then I bought the wrong size. To small. It took too long to figure out so I gave them away. Then I replaced with the same boots, only bigger. Again, awesome. Then I wore those out and bought another pair. Then I wore those out and bought the all leather ones a few weeks ago.I should have done this years ago! I love these boots! They also fit better. Since they are perfect, I will also buy a brown pair. These two pair should easily last 10 years! (I hope). At 65, these may be my last pairs! ð³ð Once I wear them out I think I am required to die! ðð¤£ððð¤£ðJust know the size is smaller than measured. I usually wear a 12US, measuring 11-1/2. The ones that fit are size 13. ð¤·ð»ââï¸ I have never trusted the size written in the shoe. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to it.So if you want a sturdy, comfy, nice looking boot? This is it!Asolo, can I have my money now for this wonderful unsolicited ad? ðð¤£ððð¤£ð

Read this review. My favorite boot of all time!
If you’re looking for a boot that won’t let you down, THIS IS IT !!!!* Ultra durable* Completely waterproof* Great ankle support* Beautiful classic design* and Quality through and throughSo, I’ve just happily received my 3rd pair (yes, I said 3rd pair) of Asolo TPS 520 GV MW boots in US mens size 11-1/2 wide. These are, without a doubt, my favorite boots of all time! These are my only shoes. I wear this one pair of boots everyday of my life for everything I do (for years). My first pair lasted me 2 years of hard, everyday, use and my second pair lasted me 3 years. They have great ankle support for rough terrain and have never leaked when walking through water. The only reason I replaced these boots is because I wore down the soles. Even the highest quality rubber soles on Earth have a limit. Both pair of my old boots are still technically wearable and I plan to send them back to Asolo to have them resoled. Yes, they are expensive, but the quality, durability and look of this boot is fantastic! Even people who don’t wear boots tell me they like my boots. Yes, they are stiff out of the box but they’re not uncomfortable. And the more you wear them the better they feel. If you’re a normal person who plans to only wear these when you do outdoorsy type things these will last you forever.

Fantastic
Great boots! They are going on 4 years old now and still look great! These boots NEED to be oiled at Least once a year, ideally every 6 months depending on how often you wear them and the type of environment they are subjected to. I donât wear them every day. I mainly wear them at work as a facilities technician and I have other boots I rotate wearing. However I think these are my favorite pair! I did replace the sole about two weeks after I bought them because they were too uncomfortable to be standing for long periods of time. But if your continually walking while you wear them I think theyâd be fine.

Buy these boots
I just bought my third pair of these boots. I started hiking in my first pair over 20 years ago and have put hundreds of miles on the previous two pair I have owned. The other two pairs are still functional, but need to be resoled. I intend to send them both back to Asolo to have them both resoled, so I will have a back up to my back ups again. These boots take some time to break in. Do not buy them and attempt a long hike out of the box. I wear them in my house regularly for a month or two before I take them on the trail. Once they are broken in, they are extremely comfortable and dependable. I have hiked many miles in strenuous and technical hiking conditions with these boots and have never had any concerns with them failing. They have kept my feet dry and protected for years. I also appreciate that these boots have a slightly higher ankle than other competitive brands. The additional ankle support is crucial descending mountains with rocks and roots. I have other friends I hike with that have gone through numerous pairs of other brands of boots, while I was still wearing my Asolos. I am a loyal Asolo customer and do not intend to ever buy another boot unless Asolo were to discontinue this item for some reason. Just buy them. You wonât be disappointed.

Amazing, great quality boots
This is my second pair, the first one lasted me 13 years before the sole materials separated and fell apart. I donât use them for hiking, they are my work boots and winter walking boots. I have flat feet and require good quality footwear or my knees hurt. They arenât a light weight boot, but they are very well made. Your feet almost rock front to backâ¦but at the end of the day, my knees donât feel like I worked all day. I originally bought these to replace a pair of Merrill leather hiking boots that I lovedâ¦but Merrill discontinued the style. The lasted 3 times longer. Iâm 54 years old, so hopefully this is the last pair Iâll have to buy for work. But if they are still around in 2037, Iâll probably buy another pair!
