Great length for tall people!
I love the extra length so my head and feet can remain on the mat. The extra width is not enough that people think you are taking up too much space in class, but adds just enough extra for my broad-shouldered hubby. Thickness is fine, knees feel comfy and the mat is not too thick when rolled up. We have only used our mats for about 2 months – 3-4x/week – but the quality appears to be good. No problems or damage notes so far. It does make some noise when unrolling – maybe I need to wait a few more minutes after wiping it down after each class before I roll it back up. I did wash the mats before we used them the first time, as recommended by other reviewers. No lingering odor or excess slipperiness. It does get a bit slippery IF my hands get sweaty. A yoga towel quickly fixes that. Overall very happy with these mats!

The extra length and thickness of this mat provide additional comfort
Although I have been practicing yoga for a while, this is the first yoga mat I have ever owned and I am very pleased with it! I love that it is reversible with two colors and I can choose a different color depending on my mood. Upon opening it, I used it right away without washing it, and my hands slipped during Downward Dog. After this incident, I decided to soak it in water with a very small amount of detergent (approx. 1 teaspoon) and hosed it down outside the house and hanged to dry. After washing, the mat has become sticky and my hands donât slip anymore. It even holds together when I roll it due to stickiness, without the need to use a strap. Washing also eliminated the ânewâ smell that came with it. Itâs not an unpleasant smell but it is the usual smell of new items such as clothing, shoes, etc. Tip about washing: Squeeze the extra water before hanging, hang indoors away from direct sunlight, and allow 48 hours for the mat to dry completely.I love the longer length although I am short (5â3ââ). Since my yoga studio gets crowded sometimes, the extra length gives me extra âterritory.â I also love the thickness of this mat. I used to use blanket during kneeling poses and Shavasana, but this mat eliminated the need for blanket while still providing comfort.I am surprised this mat has not received more positive reviews. I am very happy with this product and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality and affordable yoga mat.

It’s long and strong and comfy
Best yoga mat for me! I’m 6′ 5″ and FINALLY found this gem. Been using it for about a month at 4x a week and it’s held up well. It’s about 5″ to 6″ longer than the other ‘long’ mats and a solid 2″ wider. It’s also thicker than most mats I’ve seen and used and that’s a bonus as well. The extra thickness helps when in sit poses, pigeon, and legs crossed by providing extra support on the ankle and sit bone areas that tend to really push into the floor. My practice has become much more comfortable.I use this in both non-heated and hot yoga studios and it performs perfectly. Tacky enough that I don’t slip and very comfortable in non-heated. When I use it in heated, hot yoga, studios and it performs just as it should. Meaning that, yes, you do need a yoga towel on it in a hot yoga class. I don’t know of a mat out there that will be tacky enough on it’s own to be non-slip in a heated room, full of moisture and sweat. Plus you just want a towel for moisture wicking and hygiene reasons.Overall, couldn’t be happier. Great mat, size is great for us tall people, I mean, the extra length alone is worth the purchase. One thing to note, it did have a little odor when I unwrapped it, but I just left it unrolled for a day by an open window and no issue at all since then. I

Long, Thick, & Sticky
Iâm 6â3. I like the length, the thickness, and the width. Itâs also sticky. (Get your mind out of the gutter.) But if youâre going to use it in hot temperatures that make you sweat, then youâll probably want to cover it with something to protect it.When I unroll this yoga mat in my corner of the hot yoga studio, itâs so sticky that it makes a sound loud enough to get the attention of the other yogis. So imagine walking into a quiet, dimly lit room with other people lying quietly on their mats waiting for class to start. Then, in comes me with my long sticky yoga mat making loud noises as I manually unroll it like Iâm using a rolling pin.If you donât mind this, then this mat is pretty good. However, itâs not quite sticky enough to provide grip on the bottom of your feet during hot yoga. You might still slip and slide a bit (or maybe I just sweat too much), so youâll still need a good grippy yoga mat towel for those hot yoga classes.

Best yoga mat I’ve ever bought
I love this yoga mat! It is the best one I’ve ever owned. It’s thick enough so you don’t feel the ground beneath you, but not too thick where you can’t wrap it back up. It wraps back up just as well as a “regular” yoga mat.I bought this mat for the length and it turned out to be the perfect length! You don’t have to worry about being completely centered on your mat for each flow or move. You can easily relax into poses without the discomfort of your feet or head hitting the floor/ground.The gray color doesn’t bother me. I’m actually really content with the color since it doesn’t distract me from the peace you get out of yoga. However, there are no color options and I know many people would like more options. I almost didn’t buy this one because of the boring color, but it worked out. Again, best mat I’ve ever owned and definitely worth the extra money!

Great mat, very durable
Great mat. Not as supportive as other softer mats, so you will feel it on your joints. This one is thin but dense; it has some weight to it, so it’s definitely durable. Doesn’t move at all (I use it on hardwood floors). I also use it for core work (planks and crunches), and the only thing is, again with crunches, if you need/want support on your bones & joints, then get a thicker softer mats. But overall I love this mat. The size is perfect for all the stretches I do ( I’m only 5’7″). I can’t imagine using a smaller mat.

This may is just big enough for my 6′ 5″ husband. The thickness is good as well, since larger people sink down more into any sort of padding. It could probably do with a few more inches each way, but then it might take up too much space in a yoga class. There was no smell when we first opened it up.
Jie Ying –
Itâs pretty good and it does not tear apart.
