Slightly crispy
Exceptional curl definition. Lightweight. Beautiful healthy shine. Curls bounce and move. Not sticky. No transfer when dry. Holds for 4 days with perfect definition of each coil. I have 4b hair. I put it on when my hair is VERY wet but not dripping wet. As it airdries, it looks horrible like a drowned rat. Once dry, the curls reach skyward and bounce with each step. You just gotta be patient and trust the drying process. I use Afro pick on my roots to increase volume and height. After hair is fully dry, there is a very slight crispy feel. I rub coconut oil into my palms and wipe over my curls to soften the crisp feel. Holds for 4 days. I live in an extremely humid climate, lake area, at sea level, where air is almost always thick with fog every day. When I sweat working out, my hair still holds perfectly. If I lived in a dry climate, probably would last a week. This is not moisturising at all so I recommend a very nourishing shampoo and conditioner. This doesnât dry out my hair but it definitely isnât adding any moisture.

When I say this is the best gel, I mean it. Ever since I made the decision to go au naturel, I have tried a numerous amount of hair gels. This gel is soft on my hair, it holds my cutesy coils, it’s not greasy and the coconut smells amazing like eating a fresh island coconut on the Caribbean beach.
