buying this kid of car emergency kit is like buying insurance, you never know how you will need them and how they work until that day comes, yet hopefully it never happen. Obviously for the price, the tools arenât the best quality that they could be. But they pretty much get all the job done. The tire pressure gauge literally exploded when I went to check the air in my tires though. That is the only downside. It was plastic, so I guess I shouldâve expected that? But itâs really impressive. How many things fit in this Bag for how small it is. Having it gives me more peace of mind when I take road trips.

Sooo…yeah. You get what you pay for, I guess. The bag itself is really nice, so I eventually will replace the contents with better quality items. Everything seems really “cheap” and like it will fall apart after one use. Still, three stars because it does come with a lot and if I ever NEED any of it, it will be there in the back of my car. Chances are I won’t even need it. The jumper cables seem pretty solid, and that was the main thing I wanted as mine are 44 years old and look like they’ve been through wars. Ha. I wanted the kind with the plastic over the grippers so I don’t have to worry about sparks. So, between those and the nice bag, I’m good. Oh, the shovel seems pretty good, too…yes, as other reviewers have said, it is small. But I’m thinking it would be better than nothing and I wouldn’t want to carry a giant shovel in my small SUV. Ha. I guess the advice I’d give if you are truly concerned about emergency situations when outside “roadside assistance” range, is to maybe buy all this stuff separately and in person (so you can see the quality), then put it in a bag you could find anywhere. I wouldn’t bet my life on the quality in this kit.
