This works well on my toddler’s fine hair, which is tangled in the back every time he wakes from a nap or sleep. Much prefer this to J&J’s spray (which has a very strong smell). This scent is mild and gentle. Will buy again.

I have tried a lot of detanglers to help me keep them mat-free, with varying degrees of success, but I can stop the search because of this product. It works GREAT! It doesnât make their fur sticky or weigh it down and it only has a very light fresh scent for a few minutes – nothing that lasts. The tangles slip right out, and on knots, it helps me break them up so that I can start to comb through them. I absolutely love this product! I wish it had been around when my daughter was a toddler with superfine masses of very curly hair that made hair washing and brushing a nightmare for both of us. Highly recommend!

Works so well for curly hair
My daughter has super curly hair and this is the first detangle spray that actually works. Helps brush though the toughest tangles and knots. The only drawback is the scent is a bit strong but leaves hair super silky and curls defined.

I am a consummate product tester. I love to try new things in the hopes I will discover some thing life-changing for my family. We have been pretty loyal to our detangler, but I decided to give this product a test since itâs less expensive than my normal and Aveeno has certainly made some wonderful product. This one however, is not one I will buy again.I donât think this detangler is super effective at detangling, even when used in conjunction with a Detangling hairbrush. And it seems I am in the minority in that I do not care for the fragrance. It is very perfume-y and smells to me like something more suited to a teenager. However, I admit that I may be a âscent snobâ as I prefer light natural or herbal fragrances, like calendula or lavender. So I have to pass on this product.
