This is the ONLY lotion I use and I use it daily. It goes on without a greasy feel and truly does absorb well. It doesn’t have much of a smell and even that disappears quickly. Where I use it, it makes my skin exceedingly soft and supple.Highly HIGHLY Recommended.

Daily lightweight lotion
I have been using Aveeno Sheer Hydration (previously the “light blue top,” but now it’s brown) every day for years. Unlike the “green top” Aveeno lotion, this one is lighter weight and thinner, making it easier to apply. It does not feel sticky on the skin and dries down almost imperceptibly (the label describes this as a “powder-like feel,” but I have never used powder so can’t say if that’s accurate). Despite this, it does actually do a good job moisturizing the skin. Personally, I feel it is better as a body lotion than face or hand, but you could probably use this all over. For my skin, applying this in the morning after a shower is sufficient for pretty much the whole day. Drier skin types might need a thicker or more hydrating lotion, or may need to reapply at some point during the day. In the winter, I supplement this with a thicker cream or lotion like Eucerin, and I use a more hydrating hand cream as well.My only complaint would be that the dispenser pump (brown top) is difficult to position at a convenient angle and sometimes dispenses too much. There is a shorter distance to travel and it takes a firmer push down to dispense than the old light blue top. In fact, I removed and kept the light blue top from an old bottle and have been replacing the new brown top every time I get a new bottle of lotion.

Exactly what I wanted. I have sensory issues with lotion. I hate the way they feel on my skin, I hate the way it feels when I put clothes over lotioned skin. I hate my skin feeling sticky or greasy hours after itâs applied. I hate feeling like I have a layer sitting on top of my skin even hours later.I also have sensitive skin, I canât do scented items or I get itchy/rashy and a lot of scents cause me to have a headache. And I didnât want something that caused me to break out. Iâve had a really hard time finding a lotion to meet all my needs but this is it!My skin slurps this up in seconds! Truly! It absorbs so fast, by the time Iâm done spreading it over my body itâs practically dry. Feeling my skin after application it is soft, but dry, no residue, no greasy layer, you canât even tell I put something on other than the fact the the skin is soft and no dry skin flakes. Perfect! I can put clothes on right away and not âfeelâ the lotion because it has completely absorbed.
