As a masssage therapist for injuries, this is the right oil to use and the price is right
As a massage therapist for sport and work injuries, along with other injuries that people do to themselves by accident due to a bad step when walking, or moving things around the house, or stress bumps, aches, pains, this oil is just amazing.I pay for products, mostly ointments that are analgesic, natural made from herbs, etc. But I have to mixed sometimes 3 different ointments that will help with swelling, inflammation, and/or pain.BUT WHERE WAS THIS OIL ALL THIS TIME?I’m very happy for my savings with this oil and also for my customers who get their entire relief with this oil, but you need to make sure to rub it well on the skin and to warm the area with friction of your hand against the skin you apply it so the skin porous will open and absorb the oil and its therapeutic properties.I do appreciate people who know how to make great combinations of herbs, essential oils, etc. MY DEEPEST RESPECT.MORE ABOUT THE OIL1) It contains the herb ARNICA, that is proven to help and relief any inflammation, swelling, bruises, alleviates pain, but it does not mean it will take it away entirely, especially if it’s from a trauma cause by an accident.2) It contains ginger which improves circulation, helps reduce swelling, it has antiseptic and antibiotic properties, and anti-mycotic (yeast and fungal infections) properties as well. It helps to detoxify the body, among many other benefits. It also helps with pain relief, once again, just as arnica, it does not mean it will take the pain away, but will help reduce it, usually it’s proven that ginger has been used in studies as an aid to relieve the swelling and pain in people suffering from arthritis.3) It contains cayenne. Same as above, cayenne contains a natural substance called CAY-1 which has anti-mycotic (anti fungal) properties. So it helps to fight yeast infections of the skin and mucous membranes if injested or if applied in and oil carrier solution topically. In clinical studies cayenne has proven to have anti-bacterial properties for strep- throat.4) Last by not least is CASTOR OIL: Castor oil has anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antifungal, and pain-relieving properties. It also contains anti-bacterial properties, and as a kid some of my ants and uncles were given a purge with castor oil which is the way people got rid of parasites, in the 20th century. My grandmother wanted to purge me once with it, but I did not like the smell at all, so my aunt took the shot for me when my grandma was distracted in the kitchen. But this castor oil is not stinky at all, so the smell will not bother “a guy” at least.FINAL WORDS TO CONSIDER:The price is right, very affordable, when applied to the skin it does not irritate it at all, nor cause any rash or allergic reaction, nonetheless if you are allergic to ginger, cayenne, or arnica, or castor oil and do not know it, just dip the tip of your finger, and apply it on a small area on your hand and wait, 20 mins, it will usually take less than that to see an allergic reaction.I applied this oil to my customers, and they felt immediate relief, those who had car accidents and described their pain from the scale of 1 to 10 as an 11 (without joking at all), by the end of the therapy, their pain went down to 2, they were slouching when walking, and left as if they did not have anything at all. Of course, there were about 2 to 3 sessions weekly, for about 2 to 3 weeks and their swelling and pain were gone entirely, but still some herbal teas for swelling, pain, and some exercises were recommended to them, I cover all those areas. But this oil IS MAGIC. I do no longer have to spend on expensive ointments that I have to mix to apply to the area with trauma, I use this oil and it slides my hand better, and helps my customers. They are all 100 percent satisfied, always, but with this oil satisfaction comes faster.

Excellent rejuvenating skin oil, but not enough heat to smooth muscle aches.
This product does its job and the delivery was on time and perfect. I don’t know why people complain over the smell. I love it. It is very herby and spicy. My man seems to hate the smell but loves how it feels. I also don’t understand the burning people are talking about. I used stuff everywhere, including my private areas and I don’t feel the intensive burn that people describe it as. Maybe because my own body temperature is so low that the sensation of this warming oil is actually pleasant and not so hot for me. I tired it on my love and he seems to have the same problem, though his body temperature is higher than mines. He doesn’t like the smell. He says it is too strong. I love it. I have to be careful and dilute the stuff when I’m around him.The oil does a great job at softening my skin and I notice that my skin has improved since I brought it. I am switching between two brands though. I use this on some days and on other days I use Dr. Bronner’s lotion, so the mixture of different natural oils are having a positive effect on my bodys’ ability to renew its skin cells. I noticed that the tiny lines around my eyes and nose are disappearing – making me look younger than I did when I was fifteen. The effects could be the teas I am drinking on a daily bases while using these products, and the fact I eat healthier than most people do has something to do with it too.I love the smell and texture of this stuff. A little goes a long way. I am 4ft 10inches tall and two small pumps are enough to cover both arms. A very small single pump for the face. It really does smooth onto the skin without drying so quickly. After a while the body seems to suck it all in. Very thirsty dry skin will drink more of it. LOL My body seems to love it and my skin finally found a moisturizer that absorbs so well into it. Almost all lotions and oils I had used don’t absorb too well into my skin. They make my skin feel sticky and heavy, as if I’m covered with a thin layer of honey, and not the sexy kind of honey either. On top of that, my skin starts producing dirt clumps, maybe because I live in a filthy city, but those other big brand name lotions always seem to produce those dirt balls on the skin no matter what. Ewww, I know, I’m sorry for the graphics, but I thought I share more information to help those with similar problems. Anyways, I don’t get those horrific sensations when using Badger’s Ginger oil and Dr. Bronner’s All-One lotion for body.As for what it does to the muscles, I think it has more to do with the actual massage that my feet are getting that seems to do the job of making them feel better, rather than the actual oil itself. I do 2-3hrs workout on the air stepper switching settings on the machine and changing the speed of my movements, so my feet do ache terribly after a workout. There are days I could only 30 minutes at a time before I can’t any more. I figure this oil would help ease the aches and pains, getting me to work out longer than just 30 minutes. It is my first choice due to it being a brand that is natural and doesn’t test on animals. I read the reviews and most of them describe this product as being too hot, which I like for aching muscles. I figured this would warm up the feet good and keep them from hurting during and after the air stepper. I don’t feel the heat or high temperature that the other buyers seem to be experiencing. If I were to feel the heat of this product, than I can say that this did its job and that it assisted my muscles from aching any further. It is not a horrible product. It just didn’t have enough heat for it to work on me. The heat of this product is so low I use it as a facial moisturizer and as a personal lubricant (feels good down there).I love the smell. It is strong at first, but as the skin absorbs it starts to smell sensual and arousing (organic smells of herbs and spices; things of nature, brightens up my mood). This oil is a great pick me up for those depressing days and nights. The lingering soft smell, after full absorption, takes me back to Big Cypress and away from the nasty smog, sewage, factory and artificial garbage smells of Miami.Badger and Dr.Bronner are my best friends now. No more stickiness, bad after lotion smells or dirt balls on my skin.Added information: I have light pale skin with mixed ethnicities and heritages from mainly three different continents – South America (which includes countries from Central America), Europe and Asia. Last year I had really bad allergic skin, everything would activate my skin and cause me to itch like crazy and have blotches and rashes all over. Stress would exacerbate the would event. I then used calming meditation techniques, stopped eating poorly, exercised again, lost some weight, started to use this oil (as well as Dr.Bronner’s products) and the skin problems stopped. I still get some events of blotches and itchiness, but the itchiness is minor compare to last year and the rashes are gone. I have normal skin now. I also noticed, as well as my life love has noticed, that the large scar from a deep, wide surgical removal of a potential cancerous neoplasm I had since 2011 was now a small mark. Towards the end of last year, that scar used to be a dark pink/reddish color, 1/2 inch thick by nearly 2.5 inches wide scar (at keloid stage) and now it’s a light brown/beige, less than 1/4 inch thick by 1.75 inches wide scar (at hypertrophic stage and getting better) upon using oils and lotions from Badger and Dr. Bronner.

Heavenly scent and works great!
I bought this because I was on the hunt a warming oil for my partner’s lower back and I love the Badger brand. While I wish it were a little bit more warming, we both still loved it. And it smells SO great!! I look forward to buying it again in the future.

easy to use pump bottle and pleasant smell. Absorbs well into skin after a while, just perfect. only thought is that it is not hot enough feeling.

This oil is not worth the price it is being sold at. Other massage oils that are effective can be had for much less

I bought oil to help with joint problems. It has an amazing fragrance & generally feel it works for joints. It makes an excellent massage oil. It was more expensive than most massage oils, but smells so lovely that I would buy it again. I expected the oil to warm up more due to the chilly ingredient, but I guess it works without feeling overly warm. I would definately recommend to anyone with joint pain or people who want a high quality oil that has a really relaxing effect.

Love Badger products and this one is fantastic. Smooth without the greasy feeling, absorbs wonderfully. Feels great, love the warmth and the ginger smell is soothing.

Lovely product and super fast shipping. Good value for the price. Iâm familiar with the deep tissue oil from the herbalist Dr. Schultz. This one looked pretty similar to his recipe, but missing the wintergreen, I think, plus has less cayenne. I was expecting this to be âhotâ and it even says it is on the label, but Iâm not finding this to be so. I can hardly feel it when I put it on, especially after a hot bath, whereas the other gives you quit a warm burn, which I like. I realize many would not like that but for me, this blend could have a lot more cayenne and be a lot hotter. Otherwise, itâs lovely.
