How Did We Get Our Begin?
Again within the mid-Nineties, our founder Invoice Whyte labored as a carpenter. He labored arduous, and so did his fingers. They might usually cut up and crack within the frigid New England winters. One evening, searching for a soothing answer, he combined up some beeswax and olive oil to create a easy natural balm. It helped his fingers a lot, he determined to share it with everybody he knew – and the remainder, as they are saying, is Badger historical past.

Delectable fragrance, goes in smooth, holds well, good ingredients, friendly badger on the tin.
First thing’s first, this is a beeswax based balm. That’s important, because it means it’s not coconut oil based. Coconut oil is great for many things, there’s nothing wrong with it in principle, but what I cannot stand about it, when used as a base for a beard balm, is the way that it beads up. NOT HERE! This balm is s m o o t h a s b u t t e r. It goes in so easy, and you don’t have to waste time working out little beads of solidified coconut oil. Better yet, once it’s in, it stays, and it holds shape very well, making styling a breeze.
Secondly, ingredient numero dos on the label is “Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil.” If you’ve played Fallout, jojoba is basically the beard equivalent of FEV. It is a super-ingredient for hair strength, and hair strength = hair length. Other oils can have similar effects, but NONE of them are as effective as jojoba oil. Do not buy beard conditioning products that do not contain jojoba oil, as they are decidedly inferior to those that do.
Mentionable of interest number the third, you want to smell good. Do not be fooled into thinking that because this contains vanilla, it’ll be some sickly sweet, snickerdoodle-a** smelling product. This scent is robust, musky, and SPICY. It’s a scent that is as sensitive as it is bold. It is inviting where other scents are domineering. It is expressive where other scents are boisterous. It is by no means a subtle or faint scent, but it does not need to be, because it has the depth, sex appeal, and gentle touch of a fair lover. I am so glad I tried this in spite of how much “vanilla” reads as a red flag to me when it comes to fragrance. I aways feel so sexy using it.
The badger will dance for you if you give him money… okay, that’s a lie, but he does look very distinguished and friendly. He looks like he probably wears the same, delicious smelling balm interred within the metallic flesh over which his visage is carefully draped.
Also, the lid is a snap on/off, not threaded. This is ideal, as your hands will be very oily immediately after using this product, and that makes using twist on/off lids hard.

Clean citrus smell and balm feel
Love the organic ingredients without extra fuss. Have tried other badger products and been disappointed, but this is one of my favorite high quality organic ingredient balms. Not a lot of hold, more soft than strong. Large size for the price.

which is also fantastic, and graduated to the balm in order to …
I first started with the Badger Beard Oil when I first started growing my beard a few months ago, which is also fantastic, and graduated to the balm in order to help with styling. I have a moderately thick beard and my hair tends to be coarse. This beard balm has been phenomenal. I apply it after I shower and it does not give my beard an oily appearance nor does it make my beard feel waxy. With that being said, it does help to hold my beard in place and tame it. It has a wonderful scent and I have been given many compliments on the smell. It is in no way over powering and really only can be smelled when someone is actively trying to smell it. It gets my girlfriend’s seal of approval which really is all that matters right?! Since I started using this product, my beard is noticeably softer, more manageable, smells great, and gets many more compliments than before. I would not only recommend this product for yourself but also as a gift to someone with a beard, a strong suggestion to someone with a beard who is not using it, or as an incentive to someone who doesn’t have a beard to grow one.

Great Quality, Strong Scent
I really like this beard balm. It’s always difficult to tell how “firm” a balm is in the pictures. This one is creamier than others. It’s a solid in the can, but melts in seconds without effort on your fingers. Little or no rubbing. Similar to Honest Amish, and easier than Bossman. It smooths into the whiskers well and lasts most of the day.
My only complaint is that the scent is too strong. It’s a good scent, but there’s a lot of it and it hangs on. That’s the only thing keeping it from 5 stars for me.

Fantastic
Easy to work into beard, smell is perfectly subtly strong. No issues with sensitive skin, keeps it moisturized.

Seriously the best balm I’ve tried.
Okay guys, this is the first time I’ve even heard of babbasu oil, much less tried it. As soon as you put it on your finger, the texture is immediately different. At first I thought it left a gross film on my hands and then I realized that it wasn’t greasy. Just moisturized. No residue left on my fingers as I type this on my phone. It eft my beard shiny and in place with no grease.
The smell is something that is difficult to put my finger on. It’s definitely a complicated but pleasant scent. I wasn’t sure what about it made me think of my childhood, but then I pegged it. To me it smells like freshly baked lemon cake that my grandmother used to make. It’s a very mild lemony tone. So difficult to explain, but definitely something that I look forward to smelling today.
The price is unbelievable. I’ve been paying over $20 for gentlemens beard, and it’s not as nice as badger. I definitely recommend it

Great consistency
The product is great for your beard but the scent is unpleasant. The bergamot is pungent

Overall, it’s a good quailty beard balm. The smell is kind of like lemon meringue pie.

This product is great. The consistency is thick enough to feel substantial, yet not too thin as too feel like a product that will run out fairly quickly. I have experience with countless beard oils and a few beard wax products. Firstly – oil, although is great at a quick application, it has next to no hold, no matter what any companies try to sell you – It’s an oil! Although I am not in the market for a beard hold, I do like some control, and my beard fluffs out somewhat when longer. Wax on the opposite side of the spectrum feels fairly clumpy, and I don’t like the clumpy feeling even when massaged long enough into the hands. This is where I feel balm comes into play really well. My beard feels supple, the product smells of a good quality in terms of ingredients (I have had some beard oils smell rancid fairly soon after use).
The one thing I would point out, this oil would probably pair well with more woody scents when used in conjunction with men’s perfume. It smells (only from my opinion) like a mix of Rice pudding with nutmeg spice plus a hint of when you walk through a pine forest in high summer and get the occasional whiff of the earth as the sun has been beating down on the earth the whole day (there is NO pine smell however). To me it’s a fairly strong scent, but works completely fine when paired as mentioned, with wood/spice scents.
That’s all. 5 stars.
I always say check 4 star or 2 star reviews because you aren’t getting paid fake reviews, or really pissed off dudes, but here I am giving 5 stars, the badger owner dude hasn’t sent me money, just made a nice product I think deserves the full 5.

Das Balsam hat keine Klebkraft und ist somit zum Styling völlig ungeeignet. Es ist extrem fettig und lässt sich von den Fingern nur schwer abwaschen. Für mich war es ein Fehlkauf.
Not my real name –
Great moisturizer, no need to use beard oil with this stuff.
Pleasant lemon like scent although I was hoping itâs be a little more masculine like their wax which has a beeswax/tobacco flower aroma.
Iâm also use to other balms with a stiffer texture, you know…where you scape out a bit of the tin, warm it up with your hands and rub it through you beard…helps shape and sculpt during those awkward in-between phases.
This stuff has a consistency like toothpaste so thereâs next to no holding properties although it will tame stray hairs.
Still a nice product, good amount for a reasonable price.
