Love these! Exactly the right amount of warmth.
I love these pants!!!! I bought these for a hiking/camping trip to the Pacific Northwest where temps were cool (50’s) and I needed something practical and comfy to hike in. I ended up living in these – they are super soft and so comfortable. The fleece lining is perfect – not too thick or hot to be active in but enough to keep the chill and breeze off. The fabric also offers some degree of waterproofing as well, which came in handy when I was kayaking. The deep pockets are fantastic and there are plenty of them. The fit is really flattering with just enough stretch and compression and I love the crossover waistband. I’m 5’4″ and 157 pounds – like all Baleaf products, the large is a perfect fit and the length is perfect as well – I got the regular length. The fabric is thick and substantial and very forgiving. So far they’ve washed up really well and there’s no pilling…..I only put them in the dryer on low for a few minutes then hang to dry. I’m very impressed with this brand – everything I’ve bought from Baleaf performs well, has been nice fabric that has worn well and their sizing is consistent and flattering. Please note that these aren’t just suitable for outdoor wear – they’re fine to kick around in and look nice enough that they could even be dressed up a bit. These are a great value for how much I guarantee you’ll want to wear them this winter!

My favorite winter pants!
When it comes to to the fit: I sized up!!! I normally wear a large in pants but ordered a XL to be more comfortable. Curvy girls or girls with âextra paddingâ in the back, should do this!!! Your butt will thank you. These pants are warm with a high waisted slim fit that flare at the bottom, even one size up! Itâs very hard to find fleece lined pants that are warm but the fabric sits flat against your body, most bunch up weird or have awkward inseams but these DO NOT (if sized up). This fabric is smooth yet thick! And the pockets are actually amazing, because they do not add extra bulk to your hips. I wear these at work and keep my phone in one top pocket and pens in the other top pocket. If I have my period, I can fit tampons in the lower pockets so I am always prepared, even when I canât carry a purse around.Overall, really great for work or if you run/bike outside! I will be ordering a second pair.

Cute, thick, water resistant material
I got these to go hiking in the mountains. I loved that they were water resistant when it was sprinkling outside. I also love that theyâre a little bit thicker than normal yoga pants, so they provided the perfect amount of warmth & protection against the wind. They held up even when I scratch by a large branch. I love all the pockets in it, which allowed me to carry a bunch of stuff without having to stick it in my backpack, and they are comfortable to just around the house.

Pants could be longer
5â7â, 140 lbs. 67 yrs old, and very physically active with sports., and work daily. Would be better if 1â longer. Maybe carry regular length and long length. Otherwise these pants are great, they are warm, the quality is good, theyâre not that pilling kind of polyester fabric, but a stronger kind of a very light soft shell. Liningmakes them nice and warm Their pockets are great, I can put my cell phone in the side pocket, so it doesnât annoy me When I walk, and there are pockets that are covered so I can put my keys in there and not worried about losing them. I golfed in 35° weather and they were really cozy and warm. They look nice as well when I wore them to a meeting afterwards, so you can wear them all day with whatever activities you have, looks very professional at work as they have that nice boot cut Have recommended them to two other friends and send them to my daughter. Fortunately, theyâre a bit shorter than I am. So in summary, I would offer a regular size, and a longer one thatâs about an inch longer .

Super comfy! I bought more!
Love, love the waist design on these! Super comfy if you’ve got a belly and flattering.The fleece lining is pretty thin so these aren’t super warm but warmer than no lining. The flare bottoms obviously let in some cold air.I’m always cold, so these help me at 40 degrees, but any colder and they would not be warm enough for me. I live in Colorado.I would buy again. I really wish they came in some fun colors, like dark purple or fushia!Update: A year later and I’ve bought 4 more pairs of these and I’m still a BIG fan. Very comfy. I think I’ll spend most of winter wearing these in the house. I gained weight so I had to buy new ones in XL.If you carry your weight in the middle, I feel the waist can be a tad tight. I’m 5’4 and 165 pounds.I’m 5’4 and I feel like the 29″ length is perfect, which makes me think anyone taller might find them too short. But I’m grateful they aren’t dragging like so many brands!One complaint now that I’ve bought 5 pairs. 2 pairs were perfect. But 3 pairs had what I consider a flaw in the stitching in the right cargo pocket that made the material kind of ripple or pucker. One pair was bad enough I returned it. I decided to live with it in the other two because it’s not that noticeable.One last concern. I think the “wine red” is the ugliest color pant I’ve ever owned. Lol. I should have returned it but that’s just personal preference. I like a burgundy to veer toward purple more than brown. This is more of a rust, depending on the light. I’ve attached a couple photos to show the color in different light. And also showing the length on my shoe. Fits my 5’4 perfectly.The rust colored ones didn’t have the stitching flaw so I kept them even tho I hate the color because they are so comfortable!
