Best Casein product in the market, by way of Quality, purity and benefits and overall price!
The best Casein Protein according to me. Period. I have tried all sorts of Casein Proteins from GNC, and Online (Vitacost, Amazon, Bodybuilding.com, Biotrust etc), over several years. Almost all of them have chemicals and fillers (except perhaps Biotrust and Optimum Natural) and I will get more negative side effects than benefits. BioTrust proteins is a mix of why and casein blend, and they are very costly, and they do have larger amounts of Stevia, Inulin, sugar alcohol etc..Though reasonably healthy, BioTrust cost and the “fillers” put it out of reach for most. I also did not have any positive results from this brand. Optimum Natural Casein was my first choice till recently. Reasonably pure (at least no synthetic chemicals and junk), and decent price per pound, and average benefits. But I recently started on Naked Casein, and I am wondering why I did not try this before! It is the purest, most healthy Casein possible! Huge 5 pound tub, and with 1 serving a day, will last you 75+ days! Even with 2 servings, for the heavier users, it will last you more than a month, and it is very decent price/pound. The quality is amazing! I had great results within a week of using it. No gas, no bloating, no issues! I have used it in the night before sleeping, and have also had it during the day. And I felt energetic and wonderful. My sleep is good, no disturbance, no stomach issues. My recovery seems better. I seem to have gained positive results in the muscle department also, in just this 7-10 day period! (that is the quickest jump in results I have ever had in many years of working out). I am using Naked Whey and Naked Casein together now.. as my only protein supplements. Threw out everything else!Like many have said, it does not mix that easily by just stirring. But I am ok with the lumps! How does it matter? 🙂 Why take more time with blender/mixer/shaker etc? 🙂 Also, like some reviewers have said, it tastes just like diluted milk/milk powder. I do not need to add anything else, and can just have this powder with Water. However, I have added a dash of “Amazing Grace Green Superfood” powder at times, and not only does not help with better mixing, the shake tastes even better, and it is even more healthier! (You can even add a dash of Unflavored vegan protein powder like PlantFusion. No added sugar or extra calories, and better taste and a healther shake! I have also tried it with diluted Yogurt or Buttermilk, and this powder tastes great with all of them!Because my feedback and experience with Naked Whey and Naked Casein have been similar, and beyond my expectations, I wrote a detailed review for both products, and any of you looking at my reviews of Naked Whey, might notice an overlap of some of the info 🙂 But both the “Naked” products are outstanding to say the least. I recommend that you do try it at least once.

No Taste
This stuff is nearly tasteless. I use a Blendtec blender that pretty much perfectly blends anything, so I’m not sure how well it will work with other blenders. Apparently it’s hydrophobic and hard to dissolve, but in my case it fully mixes with water in my blender. It’s really expensive compared to most protein sources, but it’s pure protein without any fat or carbs. I drink it alone 3 hours before bed to avoid spiking my insulin by taking in carbs that would be in Whey Protein.

Pure and clean protein
Whether itâs for pre or post workout, this is by far the best tasting and the best protein Iâve tried and used for over a year. I add this to my whey protein isolate along with other ingredients. Blending is easy (I use my shake bottle), and doesnât give you that chalky and powder feeling when drinking. No additives or hormones.

Good protein supplement. Not for baking
This product dissolves quickly. No lumps or other issues. God source of slower releasing protein than whey.I wanted to use this to increase the protein in oat bars and pancakes. The batters do not set properly, the inside is raw, undercooked. Longer cooking leads to burned exterior, interior still not cooked.Would be good in oatmeal, smoothies and shakes.Does not add any taste. Good texture.

Naked has my attention
I also have a review for Less Naked Whey in my review history, it’s a great product just like this Casein. One of my old athletic trainers used to tell me Casein protein is the “slow drip IV of protein”. I have lots of things in life to thank for my size and mostly still muscular frame. I’ve always believed Casein protein is one of those things. The truth probably is, I’m hypoglycemic and with Casein feeding me throughout my sleep, I wake up feeling energized. For those with low blood sugar, they understand what I’m talking about. I was waking up with blood sugar readings of 37. Using Casein right before bed lets me wake up more in the 65-70 range. This Less Naked Casein chocolate is my favorite. I can take plain unflavored protein, but it has to be mixed with something like oatmeal. These Less Naked Casein and Whey chocolate powders have allowed me a whole new way to snack in the afternoon and at night. I really don’t know much about coconut sugar except the anti-sugar crowd speaks against it being the lesser evil of table sugar. To me, it’s a good sweetener that makes me feel good.I’m just drinking it as a shake mixed in water. The taste, as others have said, isn’t very strong or sweet, but it’s good and even has the smell of fresh chocolate. I don’t mind the price either. If I wasn’t drinking one of these shakes each night, I’d probably be drinking a local soft drink that costs around a dollar each. It’s not a big trade-off price-wise and is helping me get back into good shape.Very impressed with this company and their various products. I’m currently using Less Naked Casein, Less Naked Whey and Naked Creatine. I have a 20 year history of taking supplements and believe these are the best I’ve used. The results are there, but I’m also realistic enough and experienced enough to know I’m eating better and working out more so results should be there. This helps me most with my nighttime cravings.Oh and I put the one negative on Less Naked Whey, had the same problem with the Less Naked Casein, the scoop takes a deep dive into the 5 pound tub. I had to use salad tongs to retrieve both of them. It’s not enough to deduct a star, but it’s worth mentioning in case someone buys some and thinks they forgot the scoop. It’s down in there, you have to dig for it.

Tastes terrible, mixes poorly
This is the grossest tasting protein powder Iâve ever tried. It doesnât mix well at all. Donât even bother trying to stir it into a drink. I tried it in a shaker bottle, but it just got all foamy, which then makes me feel bloated when I drink it, and it still didnât mix well.

Based on the reviews, I anticipated a difficult to handle powder needing a high speed or a stick blender, or at the very least, a shaker bottle. I put 15grams of powder into a thin tall beaker, poured about a tablespoon or so of milk over it and stirred with a chopstick to see how long it would take to incorporate. I was surprised that it very quickly changed into a paste, or pudding-like consistency, and the lumps quickly smoothed away (not even half a minute). A tiny bit chalky in taste, but not unpleasant, and with a slight powdered milk flavor. It made a nice pudding with a bit of sweetener, dried coconut flakes for texture, and a few almonds to give it some crunch. From the paste, it incorporates any liquid easily, just by stirring with a spoon. Adding milk to it makes it taste like milk, without thickening it.

I mix a scoop of this unflavoured casein with a half scoop of my normal chocolate whey protein and 350ml of water in a shaker bottle and shake for about 20 seconds. There are no chunks or weird bits. It’s a little bit chalky, but it’s not bad and it cuts the artificial sweetness of the whey protein. I’m not looking for something that tastes amazing; just something that can go down the hatch and help me meet my protein target for the day. I’ll be trying the Naked Whey next.

Very good quality ! I use it late at night before going to bed and itâs been a game changer for me. No bloating no bad feelings nothing !

Itâs a good product. The powder is lighter than the one i am used to, i usually buy the Canadian protein brand but couldnât find any it was sold out. The taste is very light, i donât buy it for the taste but itâs a good thing since it will easily blend into any drink or smoothie. I really like that it doesnât have any junk or artificial sweeteners, seriously why do they put artificial sweeteners in a protein drink, most people who buy protein are building muscle and artificial sweeteners are proven to destroy muscles.I didnât give 5stars because itâs more expensive for the same type of product than my usual brand but very happy with this product.

If you know you want a pure casine with no sweetners or fillers this product is exactly that. The trouble I’ve had with it is trying to find a way to take the stuff that doesn’t taste awful. The powder has no flavoring or additives so it mixes poorly and tastes like 1980s powdered milk. Best I’ve found is adding a shot of Nesquick to cut down the foam and give it some flavor.
