Noisy and messy
We had the machine that pushes the scent through your HVAC system, but them my husband had the a/c company install some type of device that kills all bacteria and a side-effect was that it also captures all scent in the airducts, so no more scent through HVAC. I didn’t want to go back to plug-ins, as I still wanted that hotel scent that I’ve grown used to, and decided to try out this table-top version. I was very disappointed, as it was extremely noisy and ultimately spit oil residue out about a 3-foot radius from the unit. I ended up turning it off and purchasing a different unit from scent magic, whose oil I use, and works so much better…no noise and no residue. It still won’t push the scent through my entire house, but that’s to be expected, as the hvac unit was able to reach closets and bathrooms, etc. But the new scent magic machine does, at least, fill my common areas.

Great Scent Throw
This is very small and convenient.I put it in a corner of my living room.I have it set up to go off every 2 minutes for 10 seconds.It fills up my living room within 10 minutes and has a strong smell. I get a lot of compliments with it!I love scent, but struggle with allergies and can’t have anything with chemicals.I also don’t need extra humidity in my house in the spring thru fall. This is perfect for my needs!You only need a small amount of oil and it lasts forever.Great product when you don’t want a water diffuser.This would be ideal for anyone who lives in a tropical environment who wants scent with no moisture.

Loud, but covers a large room
Wished I could have set it at 3.5 stars. Not quite a 4. This is my 1st waterless diffuser, and I would suspect most are not quiet. This one hisses pretty loudly so it could not be set up close to the bedroom. I have a large finished basement and it does great – filling the entire room with a wonderful scent. The app works but can be hard to update. I am able to set a schedule to turn off every evening (for watching tv), but settings are limited – max time between sprays is 15 minutes. When I needed , I can turn the unit off from the app, just have to remember to turn back on. I am In search of a quieter unit Upstairs, but this works well in our basement.

I bought Smart Scent Air Machine for my home and it was great. It effectively covers up to 1500 sq, Ft. It is spreading a nice, continuous odor in each of the corners of the home.
