Book basically good but the terminology could be written better for the layman
The terminology in the first 3rd of the book is difficult. I ended up reading only some of the beginning and then skipped ahead to the practical stretches.

Who doesn’t need more stretching in their life?!
As someone who spent several years as a powerlifter I can tell you that stretching is super important to an overall healthy body. You know what many gym-goers don’t feel like doing though? Stretching! This book is perfect for anyone getting into working out and wanting to include stretching, but it’s also good for experienced gym-goers who may have forgotten about stretching or put it on the back burner. The graphics are very helpful for showing a start/end point and a mid point and there are stretches included for every body part with descriptions on how to but also what to avoid so you don’t injure yourself. Definitely a good read for everyone who wants to be a little healthier!

This is a stellar guide in both stretching technique for flexibility as well as injury prevention. There is the how: how to properly stretch and the why: injury prevention and performance improvement. This guide is easy to follow and is applicable for the novice as well as the advanced athlete. The author details the techniques for the different exercises in such a way that are easy to digest. This is not only a short term guide, but an anatomical manual for further understanding of the importance of stretch.

I love these kinds of books. They remind me to keep up with exercises, and I always learn something new. This particular book is about stretching. The author provided illustrations, which are extremely useful, and gave explanations as well. I think most of us have already done those stretching exercises, but I sometimes forget something, so it’s good to see them again. For those who never tried before, the book is a great instruction manual. Nonetheless, if anything hurts during stretching or you’re just not sure how to do something, talk to a professional. Just like the author, most people in the training world are happy to share their knowledge.The only flow of the book is that it’s not longer.
