As soon as of the opinion that individuals of religion are weak, small-minded people who simply don’t perceive science, Dr. Guillen finally concluded that not solely does science itself rely upon religion, however religion is definitely the mightiest energy within the universe.

    Incredibly helpful!
I’m a grad student in biosciences, usually surrounded by people who think God and science don’t go together. This was such a great tool to face those people in the logical way they’re looking for.

    MUST READ!
I borrowed this book from the public library originally, it was so good I had to buy it. It’s Ideal to give this book to young people in their senior year of high school BEFORE they go off to college and get their brain washed and broken. Just a fantastic book.

Good read for anyone! No science background required!
This is a good book that provides insights into the author’s personal journey which is truly one of a kind. His biographical details are intriguing and his knowledge and ability to connect science with religion is well done, particularly for a general audience. Guillen is very thoughtful and is able to introduce and briefly explain a variety of scientific concepts for anyone to understand. Even if you do have a science background, you will still learn a lot and you will see several connections between our understanding of science and how it relates to religious faith. Good read!

Great book for those seeking to understand, and for those just curious about the mysteries beyond.
I had a mysterious experience many years ago, one that I grappled to understand the purpose of, that I viewed as a cruel trick, perhaps a trick of my mind, perhaps a mind trick someone else played on me. With the absolute and pure beauty of that experience, there was a strong element of conflict. And it was not something that could be explained in everyday terms. If I had tried, I was certain, people would wonder if I had lost my marbles. Since then, I have wondered and now learned that many of us have these mysterious experiences. And I am not afraid anymore. Yes, I was afraid because of the conflict that I felt. While I enjoyed this book, the most important part of the book came to me on page 70, the authors Titanic moment, his moment that is difficult to describe and explain. This book has helped me greatly. It is helping me to undertand the conflict as being the battle between the IQ and the SQ, and accepting it and trusting it as healthy. I guess my journey is ongoing. I have not found my destiny, although I do believe that the journey is part of my destiny or perhaps my destiny itself. I hope the book will help you as it helped me. Perhaps, it help you value the trait of open-mindedness, and appreciate the beauty around us, in things living or not, perhaps expand your worldview, perhaps help you find peace in the conflict within you.

    Christianity from a scientific perspective
There was nothing to not like… A great book I highly recommend…wish I had it to share with my Dad before he passed…he was at different times in his life first an aeronautical engineer, then in his later years a mechanical engineer…… a doubting Thomas… he lived and practiced charity in many forms… so we his children were never sure….. did he truly believe? With the mind of a scientist he would argue against, with practicing believing Christians in the family… I believe these writings would have answered many of his questions!

There’s no accounting for bad reviews.
Read this book. Read it. Author graduated from Cornell U, instructed at Harvard, and was the scientific investigative journalist for Good Morning America, yet you have people in the reviews contradicting his statements sourcing Google. The book can’t have possibly been “deeply disappointing” to the 1 star giver since this person was clearly reading in order to tear down with a prejudice view to begin with. Guillen writes the book with scientific facts along with revelation. He adds his life experiences including his Pentecostal background in order to be honest and authentic about his journey. He rejected his faith in the name of science and then learned without faith there is very little to no science. A house of cards. A straw man. He learns from his near decade at Cornell U that believing is the only way to see. If you are someone who likes to tear down views opposing yours regardless of the facts presented, my recommendation to you is don’t bother reading this book. If you are searching for truth or even the possibility of truth and you are willing to listen and learn I highly recommend this well written intelligent book. It is filled with scientific evidence supporting the theory of intelligent design that thousands of scientists now support over evolutionism. I recommend emphatically that you do read this book.

My New Favorite Book to Give Others
This is a must-read for anyone, whether they are a believer or not. Dr. Michael Guillen is someone you want to listen to, with his 3D Ph.D. in astronomy, physics and mathematics from Cornell. If you have any intellectuals or scientists in your life, give them the gift of this book! Yet his writing is easy reading and simply fascinating for anyone. His book is a testimony to how God and Science DO go together…and he shows how! I just read it and have already ordered two more for others. I plan on ordering even more for Christmas gifts. Don’t even hesitate on this one!

Phenomenal book blowing away every misconception about absolute truth we all take for granted. Uses simple language for folk like me. It did surprise me on so many levels (I never read books on maths or physics). Well worth the read.
