Excellent stories!!!
My boys love the Berenstain bears. My oldest just gave the youngest his stash of books since he’s 11 now but my 6 year old is prime for these wonderful stories which stress good morals, ethics and old-fashioned family values.My 6 year old listens to these stories nightly and they have really helped him comprehend quite a few issues that confront young children, such as being greedy at Xmas and sleeping in the dark.We love the Berenstain bears and highly recommend this cd as a very enjoyable time for all ages.

Kids love audiobooks!
Kids love audio books, as do I! Awesome for travel. And nice for them to have to use there imaginations instead of just zoning out to the tv. (I do love movies too!) And you can never go wrong with the Berenstain Bears. The Bike Lesson is a favorite of my 5yr old son to read with his Dad. (Thanks Stan and Jan!) This is a gift for my nephews. Perfect for any age.

Not enjoyable
My kids love Berenstein Bears and so do I. We are very into cds lately, so I thought what a great idea! NO!!!! These stories are mostly easy reader so the wonderful vocabulary and cadence of the storeis are lost. Plus the voices are horrible. Mama Bear has no inflection. Papa Bear is not much better. The music is LOUD, out of place and disruptive. I would love to return this and think I may have to hide it so I don’t have to hear it again. My 3 year old likes it, but my 6 year old also comments on the music.

Stick with the books!
My 2 daughters love to read the books so I thought this would be a big hit, I saw some of the other more negative reviews and decided to disregard them. Kids don’t really care about voice acting skills right? WRONG!Turns out that the background music, story telling, and voice acting is so bad it even irritates my 4 and 6 year olds and I agree.I’m sure the authors had good intentions but from one parent to the next, save your money and stick with the books.

I guess I am writing this review on behalf of my kids, since their opinions are the ones that matter on this! (;My kids like this cd and request it a lot. They listen to all the stories and ask to hear it again. So I guess as far as they are concerned, this cd is just dandy! From my perspective, I am also happy, mainly because they are but I agree with some others that the voices are a bit annoying. But at the same time, they just sound dated. If you can remember the old Leave It To Beaver episodes, then you can have an idea of what these voices sound like. More importantly, there is this base beat kind of deadpan music that keeps coming on during the stories and I find that much more annoying. It is the same music through every story and it starts to grate on my nerves especially because they fade it in and out. Other cds we have, use classical music or stick to sound effects of the story. I wish they would just read the stories and leave out the music.I like that this is a relatively long cd so we can listen for a long time without having to change the cd. Good for solo driving the kids too.But, overall I am happy with this and happy I got it. Nice stories – kids enjoy them
Bought this in an attempt to help my almost 5 year old stay in bed :). He enjoys the stories and is able to follow along. He did ask me to try to put it in the dvd player in case the pictures would show up, but I bought the audio cd on purpose so this is not an issue for me! Overall good buy – 2 CDs that both capture his attention whether we are in the car on a road trip or listening before bed.

Die Geschichten sind nicht für Kinder, die wenig englisch sprechen geeignet. Die Worte sind gehoben und die Erzählungen sind schwierig zu verstehen. Es handelt sich hier auch um eine Vorlesung und kein Hörspiel. Ich lese lieber wieder selbst vor.

My 2 year old son doesn’t mind it too much but he prefers other audiobooks during car journeys. I hate it, the voices are really irritating!!!

I love these stories but the cd arrived damaged and they on two separate cds which is a little annoying for bedtime.
