Full disclosure, at 53 years young I still feel like a newbie in the world of cosmetics. After reading the reviews, I decided these were a bargain if I paid attention. I don’t know anything about exfoliation of my lips but I conditioned with an all natural lip balm before applying and I’m very pleased with the results. Also, I use a permanent marker to put expiration dates on my eye makeup (can’t be going blind prematurely,) so I simply marked these before removing them from the packaging. No worries about color matching. New colors take a minute to appreciate but I’m very happy with the range. Would definitely recommend.

Still using these and really enjoy the different color combinations that can be done with it. Its basically two-three different colors but in a palette shade scale so you can combine different combinations to achieve different looks. They are pretty nice and it is light weight and comfortable. They will if pressed on certain materials come off and do wash off easily but normal wear is good and honestly when compared to other products of the same type makeup out there these have stayed longer on my lips then anything I’ve tried in 40 years anyway. Would purchase again as needed.

I hope people know about seasonal coloring analysis, and read this before they buy.
I just bought this for myself for Mother’s Day because I really liked the idea of the lip colors having a specific lip liner that matches each one. I tried to judge the colors as well as I could from a picture. I think, let me say I wish, that every maker and seller of cosmetics understood seasonal color theory, and could describe the make up that people are getting based on those theories. Not only would it lead to a future of few to no wrong make up purchases and save customers money, because customers are happy with what they’ve bought, companies would get better reviews, and more return customers.Had they done that, I might’ve known that set B are warm colors. They don’t work on me. My daughter can wear them, but my daughter barely ever wears make up. I have two colors in this box that I can somewhat get away with. They are quite dark, and I couldn’t wear them during the day. That would be number four and number six.Super disappointing especially since I don’t have a go-to manufacturer or seller who I know will sell me only things that will match my coloring. I’m cool summer!With regard to the physical qualities of lipstick, it really is nice to have the matching lip liner and lipstick. It will help you get a nice finished look. You should know that these lipsticks are not only matte, they actually dry on your lips a few minutes after application. You will need lotion, oil, or make up remover to take it off. On the plus side, it won’t run, wipe off, or bleed easily. If, however, you already have a problem with dry lips, you’ll need a moisturizing primer, and if you want a glossy look, you will need to apply one on top.I think that I was too impressed by the packaging of the lip liners with the lip colors because it’s very unlike me not to pay closer attention than I did to where this is made, how it is made, or what is in it. From some of the Q&A’s and reviews that I saw after the fact, it looks like perhaps I should have paid closer attention to this. Be a wise shopper, especially when things are going on or into your body.I can’t return them, because in order to know if they worked, I had to try each one. Happy Mother’s Day to me. ð

I Was Shocked!!
I love eye and lip makeup but due to age and health reasons I hadn’t worn lip liner & lipstick very often at all for a few years. I wanted a lip kit that had both liner and matching color in the set. Every brand I’ve heard of, was soooo expensive and for just one color!! So I started looking at sets that had more than one color in them, but by companies I hadn’t heard of. I read so many reviews on so many of them and every single brand had a mix of good and bad. I was so overwhelmed that I finally just closed off the amazon tab on my desktop & told my mom and daughter to forget it, I wasn’t going to order any lol. The next day I sat down and went through everything again, then finally decided to just go ahead and try this one.From reading reviews I expected the colors to be darker than what I thought they’d be. They weren’t though! They were pretty much exactly what one would expect from looking at them on the product details. Ok, now on to the longevity of it! Again, I was SHOCKED! I use a lip primer by a different brand. It has a primer on one end and a lip plumper on the other end. So I’m not sure how great it may or may not be without using primer. For me though, I put it on and wait about 5 minutes or so before taking a sip of anything or smoking a cigarette (yeah, yeah I know ..it’s a nasty habit lol). I do get a little residual stain on the straw or the cigarette but not a lot. I put it on before leaving my house to go door dashing, and when I come home after 4-6 hours, it still looks ok! -Not great, but ok. Great for as much as I put it through in that time period though! Drinking constantly, snacking on food while driving, smoking cigs, talking and smiling a lot! It doesn’t cake or crack on me either!The ONLY downfall at all that I’ve found, is that the colors and liners don’t have which one they are marked on them, so if you don’t want to keep them in the case, where they come side by side, you may have a hard time figuring out which liner is an exact match to which color, as some are pretty similar. For the price, I HIGHLY recommend this and think it’d make a great gift too! I think the recipient would really like this, and it definitely won’t break your bank buying the gift!! I also gave it a middle mark for the moisturizing category, because I don’t feel that it really moisturizes my lips very much, but I also don’t feel like it dries them out either. Again, I do recommend!!

Although everything else âmakeupâ that Iâve sourced through Amazon has been good, this one is not. The colours are much more coral than what I expected – and I find the corals to be very aging.The texture of the pencils is such that to get the proper effect, it pulls the skin when applying.Try a different brand.

These are my first lip liners and I personally think they are good but Iâm not to impressed by the lipsticks the lipsticks donât look good on me be WARNED if you have a yellowish skintone they will definitely look way off ,on a more positive note they do smell good and the liners are smooth
