Accurate, Bluetooth, moves with you
I have POTS and use this when I exercise to help me pace. It works very well and sends the reading right to my phone when taken off. The screen auto flips to every direction I need. Best one out of 5 or 6 I have tried so far!

Not everybody needs one, butâ¦
I bought this gizmo because I have COPD, and need to monitor my oxygen saturation much like a diabetic needs to monitor their blood sugar. The nice thing about this model is that it has Bluetooth and syncs to an application on my phone, like my Beurer (BOY-rer) thermometer, scale, and blood pressure cuff.

I think it’s accurate within accepted tolerances
I think it’s accurate within accepted tolerances. For me sometimes it’s 99%, 98%, 97%, and once even 96% all in the same 10-minute period while I was trying to get it to sync with my Bluetooth smartphone Beurer app. The Bluetooth connection and sync starts without problem, but the transfer of data does not finish before the Oximeter shuts off to power save. That’s very frustrating. Most days I get it after only a try or two but today took 5 tries. Since I have asthma, and other allergies and had formally smoked for 27 years I think the oxygenation estimates it gives are within reason. The doctor measure 99% a couple of years ago using his professional grade medical equipment.

You Get What You Pay For… Beurer PO-60 Finger Oxygen and Pulse Sensor
I read many reviews here on Amazon and ended up getting this Beurer PO-60 finger oxygen sensor just about a year ago. I have asthma and am maybe developing Central Apnea and I wanted an accurate device to check for my 02 saturation at any given time.My frustrations with this finger sensor are several:1) The software “Health Coach” that you use with this device your phone is very buggy. Most times I cannot get my PO60 device to make a bluetooth connection to my Galaxy 10 Plus smart phone. That severely diminishes the usefulness of the device because I cannot look at my data if I wear it for an extended period of time to see trends. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Paired, unpaired, and paired the devices multiple times. Terrible, terrible app.2) When the app does work, occasionally, it sends the wrong date and time of the synced data to the phone. It is off by about 3 weeks. This started happening a few months after buying the device. There are no manual setting controls to fix this.3) Accuracy – I’ve stopped trusting its accuracy based upon several times when I first put on the finger sensor it has shown my Pulse Rate at 130 or 145 when I am just sitting in a chair. If I had not also had my Fitbit on at the same time, with it showing a resting pulse of 67, I would have panicked thinking I was about to have a heart attack. Taking the sensor off my finger, shutting it down, and putting it back on again got it to register a correct pulse. But it puts doubt in your mind as to when it is accurate and when it isn’t, especially when tracking your oxygen saturation. When I’m having an asthma flare, is my 02 really at 90 or 91, or is that an error? Once trust is lost, the device becomes fairly worthless.4) Finally, I contacted Beurer regarding the issues I was having, making a warranty claim. I was told that “you can send the device back at YOUR COST, and we will examine it.” “If the problem falls under our limited warranty, we will repair or replace.” “If it does not fall under our limited warranty, we will give you an estimate to repair AND estimate for the cost to ship it back to you.” Wow, so I pay $10 to ship it to you, and then “you decide” whether it meets some unspecified criteria, as to whether you repair it for free or not, and the result could be that you want to charge me for repair (it is INACCURATE and IT POSTS THE WRONG DATE, how can that be my fault), AND you might charge me to send it back? All on an item that cost in the $30 range in the first place. No thanks. It is going into the garbage and I am ordering a more expensive, but hopefully higher quality unit today, the EMAY Sleep Oxygen Monitor EMO-90 at $99.
