Outstanding Trekking Poles
Great balance makes these Black Diamond trekking poles feel lighter than they are. They are lightweight without sacrificing strength and durability. Adjustments are easy to make. While I wish it didn’t require a tool (Phillips head) to make adjustments, I’ve not had to make any in roughly 60 miles of use to date. All in all, a better performer than I expected at this price point.

Great sticks
I have used these on multiple trips and are great sticks. They are lite and hold up to a lot of pressure. They only reason I’m giving 4 instead of 5 stars is the cork is starting to kinda flake off in spots, I’m worried that in several years its going to be an issue

Strong to Last Long
My brother has used these for years and they have seen rugged use in Alaska!They are lightweight and fully adjustable with a built in measurement so you know where to extend them every time you use them.The extension locks are stiff to open and close but they stand up to a lot of your weight on them without collapsing like the cheaper ones do.The baskets are handy in soft sand and dirt conditions and can be removed for hard and rocky conditions.I put them to good use every day in Alaska and they worked perfectly!

DO NOT BUY THESE USED.I only got a single pole, and I didn’t leave enough buffer to prevent it from ruining my plans (dual pole tent). Woops.

I like it that they are strong and wonât collapse while hiking. I like the cork grip and wrist straps. They are heavier poles but that is what I was looking for. Easy clasp with measuring lines. Hiked on gravel and dirt. First hike completed with many more to come

Great Poles! You get what you pay for!
Had bought a couple of generic offerings throuhg amazon before getting these, the generic ones all broke within 1 or 2 hikes and it ruined our confidence in the cheaper options. The black diamond pair have been solid over 100miles of terrain including up and down half dome and multiple mount baldy hikes. Great ergonomics and just a solid design. Some have complained about vibrations but have only found that happens when misusing them or using the wrong tips for the terrain. Rubber is great for anything super hard and the steel tips great for anything soft, on half dome i was literally just shoving a rubber tip on for the stone steps and sections and taking it off for the valley and forest sections.

Received a second hand pair like the attached photo, and even the dirt on the sharp end is still there. Dont understand how can you expect anyone to accept a product like such when you charge for new. I didnt even open the carton packaging that binds the two poles and returning is in progress. Very dispointing and my time is wasted!
