Excellent book! Wish I had this right when my bous turned 18! As a parent its hard to know boundaries when is too much, when is too little etc. Tough love is a tough lesson for the parent as well but it makes you both grow. The important thing is to pray before during and after you read this. Prayer changes everything. Ive grown while reading this book and ask God to open my heart and to reveal the things that I was doing or saying wrong. Yep sometimes as parents it can be us and that is a hard pill to swallow but of you can get over yourself and realize that its not about you but its about helping your child move into adulthood and removing yourself you will be more at peace. May you enjoy your new life as you read this book. Ive read chapter 1-3 over several times thays how impactful it is. This book is amazing, it took me longer to read but that is okay. I learned a lot, it showed me what I already knew, and what I was doing, by closing the door on an ex-friend who I will call Drama Queen, who was holding me back, from serving God the way I should have for 35 plus years. I mostly saw her in almost every chapter. Also I saw a bit of myself with issues with my family. This book is also a great study tool to revert back too, if I need a refresher. I like the way he used scriptures as well, I have nothing to say about dislike as I love this book and I highly recommend this book to everyone who has A Drama Queen in their lives, like me. Itâs so encouraging and helpful in this controlling, abusive, world we live in, it deserves more than 5 stars!

Okay, it will definitely help you stop reacting out of anger or guilt and start responding from predetermined values and priorities.
