Super smooth shvave. Best shaver I’ve used. The original shave head was excellent. I made the mistake of bying off brand replacement head. Awful shave. I recommend only Braun brand head replacemnts

After eighteen months if finally works!
I had changed from a $40 no-name rotary, which did an okay job, yet not a real close shave, and was disappointed when the Braun really wasn’t clearly better for three times the price. It could give a close shave eventually, but was slower, seemed to miss in patches I had to go back to, and the biggest gripe was if you skipped a day it really struggled with even one day’s extra growth. I have a thin, patchy growth, so the cutting heads don’t get a tough workout. On make-up day it would get most of it fairly quickly, but there’d be strands all over that I had to go back and try to get. Anyhow, my original head was about eighteen months old, figuring it needed replacement because I was getting more burn. One day I dropped the head in the sink and the two of the three cutting sections popped out. I gave up trying to put it back together and gambled on the price of another head rather than try a whole new shaver. Voila! The thing works better than it ever did! Close, easy shaves, no problems skipping a day. When I examined the old head after falling apart it appeared the middle section, which I suspect helps a lot with longer growth because of the size of the openings, was somehow not working, the mechanism looked busted or perhaps not connected up with the connector bar that drove it from one of the side cutters. Anyway, I’m glad I bought the replacement – saved the whole shaver for me, and am finally happy with it. I don’t give it five stars because of eighteen months of disappointment due to the apparent defective head.

Great electric shaver
I have used Braun electric shavers for many years. I have been using the Series 7 for a long time and this version has been redesigned and it is more user friendly and gives a better shave.

Better than S9!
I bought this as a Black Friday deal. I already have an S9 which is almost twice the price of this one. That one was a few years old and was looking for a replacement.
It’s a pleasant surprise. The shave is comfortable and even cleaner compared to the most expensive model. It is noticeably quieter. The footprint of the cleaner is smaller. I checked the price of the replacement head, and it is half the price of replacement for S9.
The only minor issue is that the sideburn shaver needs to be added as an accessory which is included. The S9 has that built in but it is crappy, and I always ended up using a separate device for that when I used the S9.

Don’t buy Braun – Very disapointing
I had high hopes for the 7075cc after being disappointed by the new slower speed Norelco three head rotary razors. New, the 7075 underwhelmed me. While acceptable cutting, it required multi-passes on a one-day beard to not leave stragglers that just grow longer and are even less likely to be cut the next day. After tolerating the poor performance for six months, I replaced the cutter and screen with Braun name brand part thinking might have prematurely dulled it by not using the cleaning accessory daily. It was even worse. It stalls on a two-day beard and pulls hair out 5-6 times a shave instead of cutting (ouch!). Are they putting the âGoodâ quality cutters on new razors and shipping the dull ones for replacements? Who knows! What I do know is I wonât buy ANY Braun products if this is the quality of design and manufacturing they maintain.

Worked well, broke quickly
This was an excellent shaver that worked well on face AND head, giving a fairly smooth shave. The downside is that as you shave, the razor fills up with hair particulates and becomes less effective mid shave. At that point you need to open the razor and tap out the excess hair before continuing.
Well, as seen above, the spring wrapped posts that connect the foil to the razor are not robust, and after less than a year of use my razor failed as shown above. I expected more for the price, honestly.

Clean cuts and good ergonomics
Finally replaced my original Series 7 with this one. The pivotal head is great and the new cleaning station is a little different. Odd you have to put the shaver in backwards and doesnât charge it.
