This was my first 1000pc puzzle. Bought it by accident. Thought it was 500pc, my preferred selection. But this was fun. A bit of a challenge with the sky because of the way the colors fade into each other. Some of the pieces are identical and can trick you into thinking they go together when they don’t. That just made it more interesting for me.

Love this Lars Stewart puzzle! It has everything you could want in a winter scene–gorgeous colors, adorable animals, cozy imagery. I was initially worried the colors might be too “wintery”, i.e. a lot of snow, but each section has such beautiful hues, deep teal snow-covered pine and warm lamplit snow and well-rendered wood grain. Absolutely love!

I finished this puzzle with my dad on Fatherâs Day only to discover that it had all 1000 pieces but one was a mismatched piece from a different puzzle. The box was fully sealed but the pieces were loose in the box. Not happy, very unsatisfying.
