I made significant changes to my lifestyle in the last 4 years and as a result I have lost over 100 pounds and Iâm in great shape. Obviously there is no finish line and improving body composition is an ongoing ambition.My husband and I decided to follow a âmegadose of fish oilâ protocol since we never used fish oil before and wewanted all the benefits at a rapid pace.Obviously, such a protocol comes with a serious price tag and I was delighted to find BulkSupplements offer for 6,000 capsules at a great price.Protocol and observations:Dosage: 30 capsules a day spread into 3 x10 doses before meals, for 8 weeks followed by normal dosages after that.Duration: so far, we have been using the capsules as described above for over 2 weeks.Observations:1 both me and my husband have had only one instance of fish burps- we believe this to be a positive sign. Other than those instances the fish oil does itâs job undetected.2. During this time, maintaining exactly the same food intake ( tracked macros) I have not experienced any weight gain despite taking in over 500 extra calories of fat from the fish oil. More interesting, while maintaining a small caloric deficit, I am able to continue to loose fat.Effects:So far the biggest change has been regarding sleep. I seem to wake up before my alarm on a daily basis feeling well rested, usually after 7 hours of sleep or less.Second improvement is regarding joint health. Standard fish oil from a company I trust. Iâve ordered a few products from them over the years, and decided to give this one a shot. I would say that itâs pretty much a regular fish oil, only a fraction of the cost. Fishy burps do happen a little bit, but thatâs going to be with any fish oil you take. The trick it to take it before you eat, this way it leaves the stomach before dissolving, and is digested in your intestines- no fish burp this way. If you take it after food, it just sits on top until your food is digested. Perfect size to get a real dose, but not even remotely hard to swallow. Good product, will recommend and buy again.
