Thrilled to get this!
I purchased the orange rack – 1) because orange is my favorite color, and 2) because it was also the cheapest. I’ve have needed some heavier weights for a while, and I really wanted some hex weights. Getting the full set with a rack that allows you to store them efficiently is a plus. Weights (and gym equipment in general) have been so expensive since the pandemic. I was thrilled to get this full set for what I consider a bargain price (probably about 50% of the cost of similar sets) with free shipping. the set came in 4 boxes over two days – I sure felt bad for the delivery guy! The weights are packaged so that 3 of the boxes each holds 50 lbs (2 X 25, 2 X 20 + 2 X 5, and 2 X 15 + 2 X 10). The 4th box contained the rack parts with instructions and tools to put it together. I had it assembled in about 20 minutes, and it’s perfectly sturdy to hold all these weights. The weights felt slightly oily out of the box and had a faint odor (chemical? plastic? metal?), but the odor is quickly dissipating. They are perfect hex weights – well balanced and grippy without being too rough on your palms. I did not check the weights themselves to make sure they are exactly correct on poundage – they seem close enough, and that’s all I need. I’ve already used everything but the 5’s – and I’ll get around to them eventually too.

Perfect for at-home training
Iâm impressed with this dumbbell setâitâs sturdy and feels built to last. The red color is a nice touch and adds a great look to the space. The weight range is perfect for a variety of exercises. When I first received them, the smell had a strong rubbery odor that lingered even after wiping them down, but it eventually faded. Great price. Bad smell. Color bleeding
When I was looking for dumbells all other dumbbells were significantly more expensive and I wasn’t sure if I will be consistently using them so I went with cheaper ones. I do use them regularly now but don’t regret the decision to buy them. However, few things to consider:1. I had to keep these dumbbells in a well circulated area for a couple of weeks to get rid of the smell.2. I then cleaned them with wet wipes to clean the dye since I’m using these indoors. I’d highly recommend this to avoid bleeding of the color.3. If you have higher budget, consider the non-fancy adjustable weight dumbbells since those are better for indoor use in a room.

A bit tricky to get the A-frame positioned and balanced just right during assembly. Weights are solid and holding up well after some use.The package came in several boxes (4, if I recall) that were manageable to lift. The product does smell strongly of rubber and probably will for a while.

Smells awful, off gassing dumbbells and rack parts
The set came in four boxes. I opened and assembled the rack first. The plastic bags the rack parts were in are the strongest smelling off gassing I think I’ve ever encountered. I assembled the rack and put it in the bathroom with a fan and open window.Two days later I found that the rubber protectors were also off gassing. I then reexamine the dumbbells as I just looked quickly at them and closed the bixes back up. Not only are they covered in oil (not a deal breaker as I can wash off oil) but the “rubber” coating smells strongly.I live in a studio apartment so this set is supposed to sit in my living space but I can’t put this set in here.I tried contacting customer service, both phone numbers went to voicemail that said to email them (what do they do with messages left). So I filled out their form on the website (basically emailing them) and am currently waiting for a response. Will update.Update. Quick response but unfortunately they simply stated to return to merchant. And that the corners are not rounded, which is strange to add something unrelated like that and is actually what I told them. Their reading comprehension is poor.And to boot, even though the dumbbell was in the bathroom only for half an hour, the smell was so overwhelming it gave me a headache just retrieving the two dumbbells and rack to pack up. Literally under a minute of exposure. Then I realized that’s why the dumbbell boxes were lined with plastic.

I love the grips on these and how sturdy the holder is. Honestly I love the color too because it stands out and has no way to trip me!! I think the weight options are good ones too.

Off-gassing on this equipment is awful. Be WARNED.
The off-gassing on this product is tremendous. The stand is actually worse than the weights. The weights had a lot of little flecks of rubber flaking off. I washed each one of them with gentle soap and water and set out to dry. I can smell them when I get within about 5 feet. Over the course of 4 days, the smell is almost gone unless you stick your nose right up to them. The stand though….it’s on a whole different level. I assembled it in the family room in the evening. I happened to have the windows open already. But if not, I would have had to open them. I had to turn on the ceiling fan to get air circulating. Once I got the stand assembled, I went upstairs to get ready for bed. As soon as I opened the bedroom door, the odor hit me in the upstairs hallway. I had to move the stand out into the garage overnight. For the past 4 days I’ve moved the stand outside to sit in the sun to help with the off-gassing. The first 2 nights it still had to go into the garage overnight because I could smell the stand throughout the main floor of the house. Last night I was at least able to leave the stand in the entry way of the house, near the door. Can still smell it within about 5 feet. So I’m hoping that by the weekend I’ll be able to bring it inside and actually start using the set. If it weren’t for the terrible off gassing, the set seems to be very nice and sturdy.

Only thing that arrived was a set of 25lb and the rack. The set of 5lb, 10lb,15lb and 20lb are missing! I was looking forward to using it. There’s some discrepancies in description vs. Actual units. Product description has 150lb but only 18kg. Number of items is said to be 2, which I am assuming is two boxes for everything. The labels of the two boxes arrived at my house said it’s part of a 4 box/shipment package. So I’m missing two boxes somewhere.

This is a great set. But the smell from the rubber coating is strong. I washed with dawn dish soap a couple of times then coated with baking sofa and let them air outside for a couple of days. It helped.
