Best bargain meter available.
I’m not diagnosed, just watching some questionable spikes I occasionally get. So I am one of the most obsessive people as far as how close a meter stays to true numbers. I’ve tried all of the big brands(AccuChek, OneTouch, Bayer/Ascensia, Freestyle, ReliOn, Glucocard, Agamatrix, True Metrix, and so on). I’ve always found my AccuChek Aviva and Contour Next have been the most accurate. I know you aren’t supposed to test meters side by side, but I do so because when switching meters, it gives me confidence if my new meter runs close to one I know is accurate. So I spent all day running CareSens N in comparison to my Contour Next. My fasting was exactly indenticle between the two meters. My postprandial at various times was always within 3 points between the two meters. I’m thankful I found this meter since I’m not diagnosed, and pay out of pocket. Which is why I jump around between meters. It’s hard to stay on numbers for preventative reasons, since insurance won’t cover strips for nondiabetics. But this meter is my new go to meter for its accuracy, and affordability. I don’t trust most meters, but I now trust this one as much as I do my Aviva and Contour Next.

In Ne Zealand it is THE glucometer and well recommended.
Ihave compared to Freestyle Lite, Bayer Contour Next and True2go…and this mete is very consistent. In Ne Zealand it is THE glucometer and well recommended.

Garbage glucometer
Glucometer is absolutely worthless, about 1 in 10 strips work, and by that time the blood is starting to clot already. Don’t waste your money on this product

Good Value and economically priced test strips
I have only had my meter for 2 weeks now. I have compared it to my Contour Next One meter and it comes in at only 5 to 10 points different. The Contour Next One is rated as very accurate and this meter has been consistently been close to the other meter. I called CareSense to get the data cable to download the data from my meter and they sent it to me free of charge. This Meter is a very good value at less than $10 for the meter and less than $10 for a bottle of 50 test strips. The real value is in that the test strips are accurate and inexpensive. The accuracy of any glucose meter system is in the test strips not in the actual meter itself.

Easy to use
Iâm glad to find this meter here! Loving the price. I researched to make sure that they are reliable and found out they are actually FDA approved.. Thatâs a relief. Also I didnât know they had a starter kit with strips included. That might have been a better deal to get started.

Nice Meter
Works great! I love the price of the test strips that go with it and the fact it all uses the smallest blood sample I’ve ever seen. Some I’ve used it was like you had to open a main artery to get enough blood for the thing. It is larger than my other meter but that is ok. It came in a nice pouch which you can put your strips and lancet in as well.
