Doesn’t Taste Like Fish
So glad my doctor recommended Carlson Fish oil. It’s amazing and does not cause issues like all the other capsules that I’ve tried in the past. This is liquid goes down and stays down.

Best way to take fish oil
This is the second bottle I have purchased as I was pleasantly surprised with how much I liked it. I first bought a small bottle because I was unsure of taking liquid fish oil; in the past I have only ever taken fish oil pills. I was shocked it didnât taste fishy at all unlike most fish oil pills. It is a bit pricey, but I think the quality justifies the cost. I sought out this brand because many in the health/wellness space recommended Carlsons and have this brand independently tested for quality and swear by it. It is now a part of my supplement regime – very pleased with it.

Love that this is super clean and soft flavor. Not strong. But Iâm super clean eater donât mind natural flavors. I didnât want any fake flavor with it like lemon. Highly recommend. Itâs clear as water. Just got second bottle. Take with a little food no burps. Oils have to be digested. Five stars!

I heard about DHA and oil being really good for your health so I decided to do some research and ended up buying this specific cod liver oil. It comes in multiple flavors but I went with the unflavored and that was a mistake. I thought I would be able to handle the unflavored one since I’ve had fish oil before and the lemon and apple flavors are out of stock at the time. Unfortunately, the fishy taste is very strong and really unbearable that I have to immediately drink this with something else like coffee to wash away the taste. Other than that, it is very easy to swallow, and leaves no after taste despite being very fishy. As for the long term benefits, I still have yet to see but that will probably require months to see any results. So far, it is easy to take and not too unpleasant. If you dislike fishy taste, definitely get the lemon flavor or apple flavor ones. The unflavored one is very fishy and tastes just like what you’d expect fish liver to taste like.

I started taking a tablespoon of cod liver oil daily because it was recommended for dry eyes. Also, itâs loaded with Omega 3, Vitamin A and D. Iâve noticed that my dry eyes are noticeably better since I started taking it. I usually have a gritty âforeign objectâ sensation in my right eye, which is incredibly annoying. I used moisture drops three times daily, and it still wasnât helping. After taking this cod liver oil for about a week, that sensation is almost completely disappeared, and Iâm not even using moisture drops anymore. Although itâs expensive, itâs worth it because of how much it has helped. I was worried about what it would taste like based on some other reviews, but it has a mild, pleasant taste and doesnât taste fishy at all to me. In fact, it hardly has any taste except for a hint of lemon. Carlson Cod Liver Oil is an excellent, high-quality brand that I would heartily recommend.
