Beautiful Photos and Creative Recipes!
This is a wonderful recipe book! The cover and pages are good quality, sturdy and glossy. The photos are phenomenal! The majority of the recipes have accompanying photos but there are some that donât. Photos were the most important thing to me when shopping for a smoothie recipe book and this one did not disappoint! There are also a lot of helpful instructions for kids (and adults!) like how to cut an avocado. The directions are clear and easy to understand. I really love this book and you will, too. (By the way, adults will appreciate and enjoy this book as well as kids!)

“Kid Smoothies” by Erin Fletter
I’ve had the immense privilege of leading a youth mental health center for the past five years, and in that time, I’ve seen countless resources aimed at bettering the well-being of our younger generation. Among them, Erin Fletter’s “Kid Smoothies” cookbook stands out. In an era where mental and physical health are increasingly interlinked, this cookbook offers more than just recipesâit offers a doorway to a happier, healthier life for our kids. From the very first page, Erinâs passion for nurturing young minds and bodies is palpable. The recipes are vibrant, delicious, and, most importantly, accessible. They’re crafted not just with nutrition in mind but also with a deep understanding of what kids genuinely enjoy. It’s one thing to tell a child to eat healthily, but it’s another thing entirely to make them excited about it. “Kid Smoothies” does just that. For our local youth, Sticky Fingers Cooking has been a beacon of joy. The culinary lessons they offer not only instill a love for cooking but also empower our young clients with skills that boost their self-confidence. Erin’s smoothie cookbook has been an excellent extension of that experience. What’s more, Erin doesnât just stop at recipes. The book is dotted with fun facts, making it an educational treasure trove that keeps kids engaged. It’s a rare gem when a resource can cater to both the tastes of children and the health concerns of parents. “Kid Smoothies” is that gem. As an executive and as a parent, I cannot recommend this book enough. Cheers to Erin Fletter and Sticky Fingers Cooking for serving up a splash of happiness and health in every glass!

Fun, Delicious shared Experience
Kids Smoothies has created a fun, healthy activity to do with my kids. We spend time picking out a new smoothy to try, shop for the ingredients and then create it together. I can not wait to share this experience with my nieces and nephews. The recipes are easy to follow.

Great for little chefs
This is a terrific first cookbook for a young chef! The first part of the book goes in depth on the how to prepare the smoothies. Itâs well written for little ones! The very best part, imho, is the section for allergy swaps. My daughter canât eat bananas (which is generally in 75% of smoothies) so Iâve always skimmed past those recipes. This book gives swaps for quite a few allergens.

Fun cookbook
I ordered this cookbook for my niece who likes to help out in the kitchen. She was really excited to flip through the pages and had fun reading all the cool smoothie names. I definitely think those and the beautiful photos got her excited. She made the Enchanted Blackberry Fairy Frostie by herself and loved it!
