Christmas Ok-9 Guardians (Mountain Nation Ok-9 Unit)

Great read
I thoroughly enjoyed reading these 2 stories as both contain suspense, danger, and intrigue. In Perilous Christmas Pursuit, bad guys are targeting Bogi, a K-9, who is danger. This story includes Michael having secrets from his past.Lethal Holiday Hideout focuses on an older couple in their early 50’s. Cara and Scully have a history. Readers will learn more about Cara’s backstory and how she has trust issues and has a hard time letting go and not being in control. Cara also is trying to train Mocha to see if Mocha will pass being a K-9. Will Mocha pass? Will Cara and Scully have their HEA?

Christmas K-9 Guardians by Lenora Worth and Katy Lee is the final book in the Mountain Country K-9 Unit series. There were two novellas in this collection. In the first we finally get Isla’s story. She is on the verge of finally adopting toddler Enzo as her son when danger finds her. Michael, the veterinarian who cares for the K-9’s, rushes into her office for help as he has someone after him and his dog. When the bad guys barge in, Michael and Isla are on the run. They bring Enzo and Annette, Isla’s grandmother, to a safe house. But more danger is ahead before they can find safety and a happy ending. The second novella tells the story of Cara Haines, the head of the K-9 unit and US Marshal Sully Briggs. The two have a past history but went their separate ways when Cara’s sister Jeannette had to enter witness protection after she spoke up against her drug lord husband. Now he is being released from prison and after both the sisters. Sully must protect Cara and the two of them must figure out how they can resolve their past differences. I will miss the characters in this series.

Mountain Country K-9 Unit – A Holiday Rescue
Worth and Lee each give readers a story of two sisters separated by the head of a drug cartel. When Sara’s sister was found she was placed in a hidden location and given a new name. Cara would never see her again. These two novellas are a great weekend read. The second continues where the first ends. Do enjoy!
