Bought regular Citrical tablets and started having trouble getting them down. Theyâre pretty large and if you donât swallow them right away they start to dissolve making things worse! Saw petites while searching for chewable, which I really didnât want. I donât like the taste of most chewables or the sugar or fake sugar. Purchased the Petites and what a difference! I have to take more because the milligram amount is less but thatâs okay!!!

This calcium supplement has all the qualities my osteoporosis pharmacologist recommended and itâs affordable, even at three tablets/day. I do not need supplemental vitamin D3, but it wonât hurt me. The strength of the calcium is low enough that I can raise or lower the number I take depending on my expected food intake of calcium that day. Theyâre not too big and are smooth coated. BUT SWALLOW THEM FAST WITH ONE BIG GULP OF WATER OR THE COATING TURNS INTO A VERY COARSE SAND PAPER TEXTURE. If that does happen, I just chew them up and swallow them.(It tastes like lumpy chalk.)All in all, Iâd buy it again.

I love the Citracal petite calcium tablets. Amazon always has some for a great price, I order three bottles at a time. I was finding the regular size Calcium tablets too hard to swallow. They are the only ones that I purchase as They are easy to swallow. I would recommend them for anyone having trouble swallowing the larger calcium pills. I would also recommend them because the calcium citrate is easier to digest and you donât have to take with food.

A Mayo Clinic Dr recommended I grind up my calcium pills so it is easier for my body to absorb them. This product is EXTREMELY hard to grind. I need to purchase a product that has less of a coating for the product I use! The price is good, but I will not be purchasing this product again.Edit: I received 2 bottles of pills with coatings that are very hard to crush. I decided to try the product again because if is such a good price. The pills in next bottles were MUCH easier to crush, so we decided to continue using this product!
