Great balm
Smells great and feels great in the beard

Hideous illustration on the label but high quality beard wax
The ugly cartoon on the package almost prevented me from purchasing this item. However the price was nice and I liked the ingredients. The ingredients are all beneficial and thereâs no petrolatum in this product. Itâs soothing and helps in beard care and management when used with a quality boat or horse hair brush and a quality beard oil. I thought it was USA made but actually itâs produced in China. Otherwise I would give it five stars.

Excellent beard conditioner!!
I have very coarse beard hair. This balm IMMEDIATELY softened my beard like a hair conditioner. This stuff is great on the skin, too. I really recommend getting this if you want a great conditioner and style balm.

Very thick, full of beeswax, smells amazing
This is a very thick wax. That is what i wanted, but be aware. Smells amazing, feels amazing, great price. Love this stuff!

Absolutely useless
You might as well pour candle wax into your beard! Sure, it smells great – but it’s literally bees wax, and it’s hard to apply to the beard hairs! After a few uses, I threw the can out and got beard butter which imho is much better for the beard and easier to apply.

Not a terrible balm, but â¦
Not a terrible beard balm, but itâs definitely not my favorite.Iâve gone the ZZ Top route with my beard lately and have kinda wanted to try every beard balm/wax that I can lay my hands on. What attracted me to this one was its great price point. A two ounce (2oz.) tin is $6 (or just $3/ounce); thatâs a great price. Or you can go with the 5-pack for $16. At 2oz./tin x 5 tins, the price works out to $1.60 per ounce! Thatâs one hell of a great price, so long as itâs something youâd be using daily.A number of beard aficionados (based on their reviews) seem to enjoy the subtle scent. Personally, I prefer a scented balm to have ⦠a SCENT! The âscentâ (at least for me) was practically nonexistent. When I buy a âscented beard balmâ I not only want one that works on my beard the way I need it to, but just as importantly, I want/need it to have a rockinâ scent, a scent that goes with a long, but tamed, well-groomed beard. Poositive comments from the ladies are always appreciated. When I bought the 5-pack, I ordered it knowing it was going to run on the âmore subtle side of the scent spectrumâ based on the reviews others had left. The reason I didnât ask for a return was that I used some of the balm from one of the tins. And I couldnât in good faith ask for my money back by returning 4 full tins and one âslightly usedâ tin. That seemed like a low rent move when thereâs nothing wrong with the balm itself. Itâs just that the âscent profile is not for me. Iâll probably wind up giving it to friends that, like me, have given up the razor blade until further notice. There is nothing âwrongâ with the balm itself. Itâs just that for me personally, the (major) issue was the scent ⦠or rather, the lack of it. One other thing to note (that some reviewers have mentioned). Although the pictures of the balm show it to have a âsnowy whiteâ or a âcoconut whiteâ color to it, the one tin I opened had a yellowish tinge to it. If youâre a stickler for things such as scent of color, then please take note when ordering. For my bearded brothers out there looking for a lightly to almost completely unscented beard balm (regardless of color tinge), you should give this one a try. Whether at $3/ounce for one tin, or going all out like I did and buying the 5-pack (for less than a couple of bucks an ounce) this balm is a great value ⦠so long as itâs one youâll use.I hope that this review helped those interested in a balm whose price point(s) canât be beat. Iâve not seen a lower priced balm. I just really wish this had a stronger (noticeable) scent.
