small but good
recently purchased a 40L lightweight backpack for my outdoor adventures, and it has proven to be an excellent choice. Hereâs my take on it:Comfort: The backpack is designed with padded shoulder straps and a breathable back panel, making it comfortable to wear for long hikes. Even when fully loaded, it distributes weight evenly, reducing strain.Capacity: With 40 liters of space, itâs perfect for weekend trips. I can easily fit my camping gear, clothes, and essentials, and thereâs still room for snacks and water.Durability: The material feels sturdy and resilient against the elements. I’ve used it in various weather conditions, and it holds up well, showing no signs of wear.Organization: The multiple compartments and pockets are great for keeping everything organized. I love the easy-access side pockets for my water bottle and snacks.Lightweight: True to its name, this backpack is incredibly lightweight, which is a significant plus when youâre on the move. It doesnât weigh me down, allowing for more comfortable travel.Overall: If youâre in the market for a reliable and lightweight backpack, I highly recommend this 40L option. It combines comfort, capacity, and durability, making it ideal for any adventure!

Versatile Medium Duty Camping Bag
I love bags of all types – camping, daypacks, airplane travel, dry bags, duffels, etc. I have a bit of bags to compare to and use. This bag is a pretty good value for what you get. The bag is a very good size for travel, though it is a bit tall. I would travel with this and pass this as a personal bag as long as I can fill it with softer things that can squish and fit into their bag sizer. That is the beauty of bags like this that don’t have stiff frames and super thick straps or padding. This bag is great for that since it can be packed and shaped how you want it. The pockets help me stuff small little headphones, pens, first aid kits and keys without losing them in one giant bag area. The fabric feels like it is medium duty level and should provide good water resistance. I have silicone treated my bags for extra water repellency to make sure things don’t get wet from heavy rains. You can also just get an inexpensive pack cover that can cover all bags of the similar size and not have to worry much about damp items while walking in the rain. The pockets, mesh and straps are thoughtfully placed and provide lots of versatility. The walking stick straps are nice and can be adapted for use with umbrellas and possibly sporting equipment. The bungee on the face of the pack is great for stuffing jackets and acts as a third hand to hold garbage, your fast food take out bag, or your small camping pillow. The straps are comfortable enough though if you have a heavy pack it may be a bit lacking since this seems to be best for medium duty hauling. The addition of the chest and waist straps are a great value in pack since they help tremendously, if used properly. I will try not to overstuff and break seams and this bag will serve me well for years. Overall, I am excited to continue using this bag. It is a medium duty, casual use bag that performs.

Great Daypack for the Pricepoint
Now, I’ll start by saying this isn’t enough bag for a week-long camping trip, but if you’re looking for a good daypack, travel bag, or short hike bag, then this is what you’re looking for. Lots of pockets for all the small necessities, straps for your hiking poles, and even a pocket for your water bottle, so if you just need a pack for bombing around, this checks all the boxes. 5/5 Stars.

It’s decent, but not great.
This isn’t a high quality hiking pack, but it works for a one night “hike to camp” scenario. It’s a decent size and lightweight. It does have hip straps that are padded a little bit. It also has bolsters on the back to help with sweating, but they’re not very pronounced, so they won’t help a ton. The shoulder straps are sewn right where they connect to the body, overloading this bag will probably cause those to separate. There’s definitely many ways to attach gear to this and the pockets are large. The body is nylon and fairly light.I wouldn’t plan on using this on a multi-day trip myself, but a day trip or one night should be OK.

Average quality, average size
We do a lot of medium-length day hikes, and I wanted a bag big enough to hold all the basics without being overly cumbersome. This bag is just the right size! It has a variety of pockets to keep hiking gear, jacket, a lunch, etc. handy.

Perfect as a daypack for holding gear for a day hike or tentless camping
I got this thinking it might be good for holding my surf fishing gear but frankly it is too big. Iâll be going back to my smaller bag for fishing gear but this has features like the padded shoulder straps and the wide padded lower belt that will make it perfect for day hikes and maybe overnight camping where I can get by with a simple tarp, no tent. Lots of straps and the two side pockets are perfect for water bottles. The very back has a cross cross of elastic (see picture) that could be useful to hold wet rain gear or muddy trail shoes outside the dry inner space after a quick storm comes through.Note that there is no external aluminum frame and the padding between your back and the backpack is thin and shapeless. What you put in it defines the shape it takes but the side straps help to snug up the sidewalls tight so everything in it doesnât settle to the bottom making for an unwieldy lumpy pack. Also no lower place for a sleeping bag.Great for holding some dry clothes and rain gear and pack lunch for a rugged trail walk. It is big enough for a 6â man to use but my wife also tried it on and said it felt comfortable for her 5â4â thin frame.
My cane was not in the bag and it was seal properly –
