worth the money, will work on the very early stage, several suggestions
this book is well illustrated and provides good explanations to the most basic concepts.Though the choice of the language raises concerns; probably, C++ is not the best language to teach children? (I used python) Also, teaching concepts of OOP would be helpful.Still, worth the money, and will be helpful if you got to use windows platform and wish to start with C++.

Don’t waste your money!
This book claims it is written for kids to get started with programming using C++, which intrigued me because C++ is a notoriously difficult language for beginning programmers. Unfortunately, even though it promises amazing activities, games, and puzzles; it doesn’t have any of those things. The “exciting” final project is to create a student management system. Oh yay! In fact, all of the exercises are things like finding the area of a circle or determining if an integer is odd or even. The kind of uninspired exercises in the worst textbooks.This book looks like most of the text was blatantly copied from online documentation and is not written in a way that would be at all helpful to a beginning programmer. Even worse, the Kindle version has ads throughout it begging for a good rating on Amazon.I would say this book was generated using ChatGPT, but I think it would be better if that were the case. I really wish I could get a refund from Amazon!

Not what I was expecting
As a self taught coder with minimal experience I was hoping that this book, being for a child, would help me get further along with my skill, but I truly found myself struggling to keep my attention span. I wanted to learn all the fun things and see my coding come to life but unfortunately the struggle was a little too real. Maybe more advanced coders can get more out of this book than I could.

C++ is a powerful programming language but it is not easy to learn. In my opinion, C++ is suitable for older children, for younger children better to use Scratch. The book gives a gentle introduction to C++ and a bit of the programming world. It explains the main techniques in programming, such as functions, loops, arrays, etc. However, no “pointer” in the book as the concept of the pointer is hard to understand even for undergraduate students. The book should provide more exercise activities and also provide the answers to these exercises.
