    Good for learning Javascript
This is a great book. It covers all the basics to learn Javascript, and there are plenty of programs/games to build. I bought it for my son, but I enjoy it, too. It is good for kids and adults to learn Javascript.

Poorly made and not engaging enough
Poorly made, looks very unprofessional, like a child put it together and not in a good way. The content is poorly organized and not easy to understand for a beginner or a child. I would not get it for a young child as it is not something they can follow in their own.

My son won’t put it down. Must be decent. He’s 9.

I enjoy how each chapter are very short but you are able to build a small functioning programme at each chapter. As someone who learn best in small chunks with examples, this is a great book to both kids and adult. Someone did write the content is poorly organised and not easy to understand.. This is not true but I do understand that ‘programming’ is not for everyone and even when it is simplified to this extent, some people will not get it.
