Great little grill
Simple, light, packs down small. Used it to cook fish on a recent backpacking trip.

Many months later, still going strong
I’ve used these a ton with my camping stoves and over open fires. They have bent and warped a bit with heat but are still sturdy. They are very light and fold down very flat in my hiking bag. I bought one then months later bought a second so I could lay a larger folding grate down on top of them to make a very large cooking area, see the photos. 5/5 stars

Works well, get what you pay for
Works well woth the BeGrit cook set. Enough space and sturdy enough to have two pots of boiling water. Be cautious of the edges as they havent been ground down and are probably sharp enough to rip through most materials. For <10$ it works well.

Bought for open campfire cooking
I bought this to put over the campfire for foil pouch meals. worked perfectly. lightweight and it folds thin to pack away nicely. will be testing a cast iron pan on it next and I’ll update after that.

Packable Grill but a Little WEAK !
I really had high expectations that this grill would be wonderful for backpacking and bushcrafting but the sturdiness let me down a bit. The grill will do in a pinch over an open fire, but the steel could be thicker gauge for more rigidity, but the price was right. That being said the quality is commensurate with the price but if you want durability that will last for years of use this grill is probably not for you. The fold out legs are a great addition though, as you won’t have to use logs or rocks to elevate this grill over the fire. Also, the ends of the grill could have been refined a bit more as they are a bit sharp, so be careful placing it in and removing it from your pack.

Great lightweight grill
The grill is sturdy in a level spot over the coals. We used a heavy iron skillet on the grill twice with no issues. The grill cools quickly for easy storage. I bought a second one.

The best.
UPDATE: After a couple years of using this, I have to say I have yet to find a better grill for backpacking. For the price and the weight, it just beats everything else. I did replace mine with the same one because after continous use, it started to warp pretty badly. But for the price, it’s worth it. I’ve used this on so many backpacking trips to cook steaks and brats with the squad. I’ve looked at other grills, even got one of those ones that collapses and packs down into a tube, and this is the one that wins every time because it is the lightest and simplest to use design. I was worried when I first bought it that the sharp edges would be a problem tearing up my pack, but it hasn’t been an issue. All in all, this is my go-to grill for hiking!ORIGINAL REVIEW: Couldn’t be happier. I used this while backpacking and cooked two steaks on it. It worked perfectly. It also fits perfectly inside my pack. I keep it in a trash bag to keep my bag clean and protected from the sharp edges, and it fits perfectly inside the water bladder sleeve in my backpack.

Works great for what it is, just Check the size as this is small and good for backpacking
I did end up returning this item as i was looking for a bigger grill, so do check the size before purchasing. If you are going backpacking this would actually work very well to travel with; I myself will continue to use a small propane when backpacking as the food i cook is not that big and we rarely start fires when ultralight backpacking. Good item and sturdy but i dont think it would hold a heavy castIron pan.

Came in super handy during our camping trip a few weeks back. Sat perfectly over the fire and allowed us to cook a bunch of food, boil water. Sits sturdy and solid. Quality product

Mal schauen, was die wortwörtlich me Feuertaufe bringt.Ggf ergänze ich die Rezi
