Fun Canopy Tent
Bought this for a beach vacation.Very easy to set up- even for one person.Lay out the tent, attach the poles, Insert tip into pockets and boom.Easy Tear down, even for my two boys.

Difficult to assemble
This is not a one person job. Even with two people it was very difficult to get together, the sections of the pokes slip apart too easily. Read down was almost as bad. Once up though, it did the job, kept bugs out and provided shade.

Don’t Get This – Get the Coleman Screened Canopy Tent | 15 x 13 or 10 x 10 instead
Best and favorite thing about this product? The color blue.And then it’s all downhill from there.I had previously owned the Coleman Screened Canopy Tent 15 x 13 and it worked great and was super easy setup – pop up mechanism. (I sadly and stupidly let my ex-husband keep it.) Decided that I’d go for a lighter weight option screen tent this time around. Something that will fit my road tripping Subaru Crosstrek. So, bought this thing based on description that it’s lightweight and you can carry it around. Ha! Oh, so, so, so very wrong on the description. This thing isn’t much smaller than the Coleman Screened Canopy Tent 15 x 13 when broken down. Basically about the same size, but with this you get the extra agitation of painstaking setup and time wasted.I just processed the return for this product. Never used it. Never even fully assembled it. Not cause I can’t set up tents. Definitely not why. But upon finding that the poles once extended required just about my entire giant backyard patio just to unfold I already knew it’d be a disaster at a campsite. I proceeded to weave the poles through the loops in hopes that just maybe it will come together. I wanted it to work so badly. (I really love blue and I hate wasting products by returning them.) But nope, the poles, as they love to do, kept snapping out of place and getting caught in the threading through process. Then it was time to erect the canopy and that’s when I threw in the towel. So difficult to put the poles in the base pockets. Definitely pretty much requires minimum two people to assemble and by then it’s a forget it for me. If I can’t do it on my own then it’s not a camping product worth owning.Don’t get this tent. Get the Coleman Screened Canopy Tent | 15 x 13. I preferred the larger one versus the 10 x 10 cause the smaller doesn’t fit around most wooden camping tables. But whatever you do. Avoid this Skyshade Screendome.

I like Colemanâs screen dome tent. It actually has a bottom that can be attached. It was fairly easy to set up but I did need an extra pair of hands. Unfortunately one of the tent poles got bent in a strong wind shortly after purchase. About a month or 2. So I called colemans and they actually sent me a brand new 8 by 8 screen dome tent! I was amazed! I just will make sure not to leave it up when there might be a lot of wind again!

So, Coleman is a known company, and I think that the quality of that product is OK. I can’t tell for sure, as after trying it at my back yard, I decided to return it.Pros:-Known manufacturer-Probably good quality product-Pretty small footprint when folded-Not too heavy-Has an optional “floor”Cons:-Still uses an old, end-to-end one pole, technology, which requires pretty large setup area, though the final footprint is not so large.-Biggest con, which was the reason I’ve returned that screen dome, is the way you have to enter the dome. Instead of having an up-down zipper in the middle of the entrance area (like in most other screen domes), the zipper goes around and creates a “door”, but that is actually very inconvenient and complicates the entry/exit.Hope that review helps somebody.
