Very friendly to use. It has less letters at first. Then, it gradually has more letters to connect later in the book for different animals. Really like the book as my son play with it every night!!

My great-grandaughter who is 3 and a half enjoyed this, mostly because her other dot-to-dot books are numbers, not letters. Her pencil tended to rip the flimsy pages, though.

Great for struggles with a writing device
My two littles just LOVE dot-to-dot. The 4-year-old can recite his ABCs and numbers but struggles when holding a pencil/crayon correctly. I suspect he might be a lefty but that remains to be seen. This book has some shorter spans between the letters and he has more success completing those. His younger sister (3) wants to do them, too. Again, the shorter span between each letter for them to draw a line is greatly appreciated.
