Perfect for home hair coloring
When I decided to start coloring my hair myself to save money, I remembered that my grandmother had always used a bonnet dryer when she dyed her hair. Heat helps the hair absorb the color better, and this uniy was affordable at $35, so I decided to give it a try. This dryer is very similar to the old-school models, but small and light. The ones my older relatives used were huge and took up a ton of closet space. This, however, is about the size of a cereal box.My medium/fine hair has been anywhere from short to shoulder-length, and the bonnet has accommodated my hair plus a microfiber turban towel with plenty of room to spare. I can’t speak to how well it would dry wet hair, but I have run it off and on for up to 4 hours while bleach, dye, or henna sets, and it has worked perfectly. There are 3 heat settings and they have a distinct temperature difference ranging from slightly warm to what feels like the same amount of heat my hand blowdryer generates. The noise level is also similar to a hand blowdryer.Other reviewers have had the following issues that I think were user error:1. Bonnet disconnecting from hose: When attaching the hose, twist until you feel/hear a firm click. There is a point where it feels like it has twisted as far as it can go, but turn it just a smidge farther. Once it clicks, it will not come loose.2. Hose won’t fit inside the case: Use the drawstring to cinch the hose up as short as it will go and secure the bead next to the hose so the drawstring stays tight. The compacted hose will fold right into the case.3. The power cord is short: This is true, but the cord also needs to be able to fit inside the case. I use the dryer while sitting in my cozy chair, and there is an outlet right beside it. The cord is plenty long to use the dryer like this. Or if someone really can’t sit within 4 feet of an outlet, they could easily use an extension cord.Hopefully this dryer will continue to perform the way it does now and I can keep saving money by playing Beauty Shop at home!

Easy to use and works great
Conair makes reliable hair accessories so I knew this would be a safe purchase. The only suggestion I have is to carefully snap the bonnet or brush in place with the hose. It takes a little patience to completely snap it together, so go easy. You wouldn’t want to break the plastic parts.

Very good heating sensor
This hair dryer has a soft bonnet tgats large enough to fit large hair rollers for drying. It has low and high heating selection and high is very hot. The soft bonnet tore after one year. I could not find a replacement bonnet so i brought the same hairdryer. Can’t beat the price. Get it now before the price goes up.

Dryer died after 35 minutes!
Things I like: lightweight and compact. I’ve read several reviews where people said the hose was too short and after using the dryer, they weren’t able to put the hose, cord and certainly not the cap back in the case. The hose: you have to press the button on the white ball on the string to extend the hose. Likewise, when you’re done, slide the white ball back toward the bottom of the string to contract it; it will then fit in the case making room for the cord and cap.2 dislikes: 1) the cap isn’t large enough to fit my inch and a 1/2 size rollers. I was able to use the next size down. 2) For the first 10-15 minutes, I had it on medium heat, then switched to high. 20 minutes or so later, the dryer just cut off! The total time I was under the dryer, low heat at first then high, was 35 minutes! I need a solid hour in order for my hair to get dry. So i spent another hour and a half hand drying my hair with my diffuser then flat ironing it. I had planned to just wrap it after coming out of the dryer. I’ll give it one more try next week; f it cuts off on me again, I’ll have no choice but to return it.

Perfect small and light weight hairdryer
People complain about the length of the nose – once itâs out of the case and you release the tension string itâs longer than it looks and once itâs warm, it is gets softer and even longer. Sitting here with it attached to the bonnet thatâs on my head and itâs as long as my arm. Way long enough to set the base unit on a side table next to where Iâm sitting.Attaching the hose to the bonnet – if you have any common sense you will see that there are two notches in the plastic that you attach the hose to and there are two small protruding areas the exact same size and shape as the notches in the plastic. Guess what, match them up, turn the hose until you hear a click and itâs attached and will not come off. In case youâre not even slightly bright, you have to turn the hose the opposite way to until it clicks to remove it from the bonnet. Who knew!Itâs not very quiet but that doesnât bother me much, I wish there was room in the case for the bonnet and I really wish it was easy to open the case without having to use something to kind of pry it open but even with those observations, I think itâs well worth the money.

VERY SHORT AIR HOSE
The air hose that connects to the bonnet is only about 2ft. long. You must lay the hard case behind you on the couch in order for it to be long enough to use comfortably. The bonnet is smaller and tighter than I would like. If you were to use large rollers and had a lot of hair you would have problems with the size of this bonnet. Putting it on and off knocks a few rollers out of your hair. If you’re old enough to remember using one of these the older style bonnet dyer , they’re definitely superior to the new Conair dryer. It’s my opinion that they’ve cheapened it and of course charging more. I mostly use it to process hair color faster, so I kept it. One highlight of this dryer is that it does get very hot on the high setting. It’s definitely better than nothing but requires you to make accommodations to use it comfortably. It must be placed within 2 feet of your head. The bonnet runs a bit small for those who use larger rollers or with quite a bit if hair. A positive comment it’s very lightweight and would be easy to travel with . The hard case also makes it difficult to push the hose back into the case. It goes back in via the small side area of the case. It’s easy to scrape up your knuckles on the hard, sharp plastic while trying to fit the hose, bonnet and power cord back into the small storage area.

I think the bad reviews might be linked to a bad seller or something. This is the only bonnet dryer available that is less than $200 and doesn’t look like it belongs in a salon. It’s not that loud -certainly not painful or unpleasant – quieter than my usual hairdryer, if I’m honest.PROS:Bonnet connects tightly to hose – it’s a turn and click thing – if you are reading this thinking the hose falls off, try again and feel for the ridge where it clicks in to the bonnet’s port. This is the one thing the bad reviews state and so I think they all got a fake product or something. It’s sturdy as heck. Not too hot – I had it on Medium for an Aphogee deep conditioning treatment and the airflow is great, worked perfectly – much better than me aiming the dryer at my head and hoping to cover the whole area for 5 minutes! The treatment worked better than it ever has – the free airflow & moderate heat seem to have really got the protein into my hair. For this reason alone, I’m happy with this purchase.LIGHT – it looks heavy but the case is ABS plastic and even with slight arthritis in my wrists I can pick it up and carry around from room to room no problem.CONS: hose length is fine but would be cool if you could purchase a longer one, or get a snap-on extension. It would be great to be able to place this behind me on a bookshelf and put it in a soundproof box so I can watch TV while drying. I’ll work on MacGuyvering that myself..tl;dr: It’s good; don’t fret the purchase.

muy buen producto. envio excelente y embalaje también. todo llego en la fecha y hora estipulada. excelente compra la que hice. la he usado pocas veces y hace su función. lo único que no me gusta mucho es que el cable de alimentación no es lo suficientemente largo.

This is perfect deep conditioning if you have curly hair. 15-20 minutes with it on and you get the results needed. I feel the high heat should be higher. It doesnât over heat or burn you if you put it together right so make sure the hose is tight. Skip the instructions in the box they are useless. Go on YouTube and search up reviews they will give you a better idea of what to do. The locking mechanism for the hose to the bonnet is the only tricky part. I suggest twisting the hose into the bonnet until it clicks. It should stay then. I donât like the heat brush for curly/kinky hair types. I tried to blow out my sisterâs type 4 hair with it and wasnât as effective as others I have tried. They could have made it better. Other than that itâs perfect for the price and a good investment for your hair.
