Great for a Girl’s First Curling Iron…
I couldn’t pass up the price! This curling iron didn’t get hot enough for all of the hair I have to curl. Although, I think it would be great for a girl’s first curling iron… It doesn’t have any bells or whistles, you just plug it in…

Doesn’t get hot enough
I saw one reviewer say it got hot fast and worked great. I don’t know if she got the same product I did but i and others experienced the same thing: seems well made, good size, but it just didn’t get hot. It took probably 15 minutes to even get warm and even then it was never so hot I couldn’t touch it with my bare hand. It did not curl hair. Returned. Very disappointing for a name brand, though I guess the price says it all.

Not pleased with amount of time it takes to heat up n still never gets quite hot enough…but for the price it is worth it…at $7 I will throw away eventually, out of disappointment!

Cheaply Made, Ineffective Curling Iron
I accept responsibility for purchasing this product, but it did not work as advertised. Yes, it’s inexpensive (I needed a quick option after forgetting my usual curling iron while traveling), but should still perform simple functions. There is no “turn on” button (it heats after being plugged in) and the indicator light didn’t work at all. After about 10 minutes it warmed to lukewarm heat. My fine hair typically curls easily, but this product didn’t make a dent.
