I needed a flat iron to take on a trip as my old one was dying. I chose this one because it was inexpensive, and it worked out great. They temperature controls are there for a variable heat setting. The iron heats up very quickly and gets the job done. Easy to pack up and throw in your luggage, cools down fairly quickly to put with your other items when traveling.

I bought this to replace a high priced but worn out flat iron. Works even better! My only issue is once you plug it in you do have to remember to turn it on. Sometimes I forget. But it does heat up quickly! I have thick wavy hair and can use the lowest setting of heat and it straightens perfectly and quickly.

First use was very impressive.
Heats up stupid fast! Love that there are 5 temperature settings to choose from.
My hair is light blonde, regularly highlighted, thicker and coarser so I started at 338 F but moved up to 374 F and the hotter it got the faster it straightened with less passes.
I used 1 or 2 passes each time and it was perfection. I havenât even used it at the highest temperature of 410 F yet so I can only imagine how much faster it will be then, will probably only need one pass.
Made my hair very soft. There is no pulling.
Itâs also very easy to use for making beach waves. I was impressed. I used to hate using a flat iron for waves but with this one its a breeze.
Good weight but not bulky or heavy.
When you turn it off it doesnât take long to cool down.
And lastly, I love the white and rose gold colouring!
Again, this was my first use experience so will see how it handles for the next 30 days but so far I am very happy with it and for the price it not only looks amazing, it does the job very very well.

I made a mistake buying this piece of c.. please don’t do the same. It worked for exactly 2 days!! TWO DAYS! After that you couldn’t turn it in, it just stopped working. Never buying Conair again!!
