My favorites
This was a great purchase for the price. There is no way to control the temperature, but just turn them on while you are doing something else like applying makeup or showering. They heat up fine after 5 minutes and do the job. In a way, the lack of a temperature control is beneficial so that they do not fry your hair due to overheating.

Maybe these just didnât work for me and they worked for others so I wouldnât knock them all the way to just negative reviews. I would, though, just like to give these the stars for easy communication with the sellers as far as having to return them for refund is concerned.

Dangerous
Just received & nothing like the picture on Amazon portrayedâ¦.no on off switch, only has one heat setting. No metal standâ¦only a plastic knob that is not balanced, so that the heating element lays on your table, etc. A fire hazard! Very disappointed.

It’s a good price since you get all 4 irons
For most people this set would be a great low cost option. The irons work, heat up in a reasonable amount of time, and are easy to operate.
However, I have very thick, coarse hair. These irons do not get as hot as my older Revlon adjustable temp iron. It hadn’t occurred to me, that since they aren’t adjustable, they would be a lower temp. They are still usable. They just take longer to make curls that last. You have to use the thinnest sections of hair and you really have to leave the iron in the curl longer. It’s trial and error to determine how long. I like that I can use the 2 largest irons and have different sized curls, which looks a little more natural.
Would I purchase again?

*If I was buying for a tween with normal or thin hair, so they can learn with simple, straightforward equipment, these would be perfect.
*If I really needed new irons for myself and these were what I could afford, they would get the job done. Especially, if I had normal or fine hair.
*If I were looking for inexpensive irons to leave in my travel bag for quick packing and less worry if my luggage is lost, these are great.
*If I were growing my hair back out and in that awkward in-between stage where you don’t know what to do with your hair and might still get frustrated enough to cut it very short again(this is me), this is a great solution.
*If I knew I was going to use an iron several times a week or even daily, and had my hair type, and could afford something better that heats faster and has variable temp settings, I’d definitely go for the upgrade.
In my situation, I’ve missed the return window, so I’ll keep these around for travel and to use on my granddaughter. I’ll be shopping around for nicer irons for myself once I decide to keep growing my hair out.

overall not bad
Overall, these curlers are not bad but they are just cheap so the quality isnât very good. Sort of have to be prepared they arenât great when you get such a good deal on THREE curling irons! They heat up great but they rip my hair out and are very difficult to use correctly compared to the ones I have used recently.

Just like the 80âs but still ok for 2022
Used to get these back as early as 1985 when they were brown! These are the same. They get 1 temp hot no auto shut off but they do the trick. They gave the clomp thing so no MJ glove required or no slide capability. But a simple 3 curling irons in 3 sizes that do the trick and hold a decent curl without an off brand company searing your hair off. Theyâre metal not ceramic but you still have your hair and itâs curled to your liking. It may not hit 400°F so if your hair is t hi keg or harder to curl you may need more time and or product. Iâm one of those and it worked for me but takes a bit longer thatâs all. It hard to go back to the 80âs but 3 safe irons for $30 vs $80 each sold me on the old days. Pls Unplug it though. Donât burn down pretty please. Best of luck hope your experience is ok like mine.

I am sure it was a oversight on my part. They do not have a temperature control and do not get hot enough for my likings. Great for a beginner, but not for me. Takes forever to get the curl if you have straight hair.
