You get what you pay for. Takes a very long time to heat up. Very frustrating, over 12 minutes to reach 400. Spend a little more and save yourself the aggravation no quick getting ready with this wand

This only went up to 350 degrees. The top two levels of heat didn’t activate at all. Though it’s more than hot enough at 350, I am concerned that it may die on me — which why I only give it three stars. Otherwise, it’s relatively easy to use and to hold.

This is a great thick curling iron! It feels well, material feels nice and it heats up fine and curls great! It’s not really made for longer or thicker hair really because the barrel is a bit small. My hair is about 26-28 inches and it seemed to be a bit too long for it although my hair is very thin. It curls just fine and did a good job overall.

This 1 1/2-inch curler works efficiently. I have no complaints about the startup; it heats up fairly quickly. I was able to style my daughter’s hair beautifully with this curler. One issue I noticed was that hair would get caught and snagged around the base of the curler, forcing me to move the hair up the barrel. Other than that, it works great!
