Fridge magnets
These are definitely for older kids. The pieces are really small and are definitely a choking hazard.They stick well to the fridge and are thick enough to withstand a few falls and occasional chewing. They are made of cardboard, so you can definitely see teeth marks. Don’t let them get too wet or they distort and fall apart.

Not enough letters
I really like this product, my first grader uses plenty to make words, the only inconvenient is that there are not enough letters to name all of the images. I’m wondering if my package came missing pieces or if there are just not enough letters included.

Great for practicing spelling 3 letter words
My kids absolutely love being able to take the letters down and play with them. We are working on our ABC’s with my 4 and 2 year olds and this will be able to grow with us as we start learning to spell our first words as well. I really love that the vowels are red and stand out as they are in every single word so they are easy to find. I also love the pictures that come with it so that they have a visual of what they’re spelling as they sound out the word! I know this will get a lot of good use in the future!

These are an high quality educational set of letters and pictures. Ideally they are to be used in conjunction with a magnetic board of a refrigerator appliance. However, any flat surface will suffice, be it a floor or a table top.The vowels are red and the consonants are blue. Pictorial pieces give the child an opportunity to learn the alphabet by audibly sounding out both the word and the letter, also by touch and sight. This incorporation of these three senses assist to reinforce the concepts of objects, words, and letters.I believe that these are teaching tools that require some mature interaction and guidance, this presenting an premier opportunity to cultivate and nurture the parent/child relationship while strengthening the bond. Subsequently they will not be used as babysitters! In my opinion, the minimum age level ought to be 3 years old.The security and longevity of the set would be greatly enhanced it it was offered in a sturdy and durable container rather than a plastic bag. The 50 cute magnets and 78 magnetic letters with 2 word lists arrived today and it is really cute. We recently moved to a retirement village. This has meant many adjustments. It was a big downsize for us. One of the fun things that I love doing is decorating my door each month according to the holiday. I purchased a magnetic white board that has an attached strong cord which enables me to hang it on my door. These letters are great because I can add fun words and even some of the cute little magnets. The quality of these magnets are very good and they are very colorful. This a good set of materials to teach or review CVC words. There are pictures of items and the letters are used to spell the word that matches the picture. The pictures and letters are well made and hold well to magnetic items. There is a word list included for those who may need some assistance. There is a bag for storage. The one thing lacking is there are not enough letters for each picture, so all words can not be spelled at the same time.
