Suggestion: Mix with coconut oil
The good part is that it really did improve my dogs breath after about four or five days and it did reduce the amount of tartar on her teeth.I wouldâve liked to be able to continue using it. What I did not care for this product because it is very gritty and requires too much of a portion and it contains mushrooms. I donât know what about it that disagreed with my dogâs system, so for that reason, I had to quit using it because it made her back end sore and have tremors. In all fairness, I tried another brand which did not have mushrooms afterwards and noticed that it was not so gritty. It did not fall to the bottom of the bowl and it did not require so much of a portion and it did not contain mushrooms, but my dog had the same symptoms. So itâs just my dog that apparently canât handle this type of product.

Still too early to tell if it works
It smells a little funky, but my dog still runs toward his dinner like it’s the best thing ever. I use a water additive which helps fight plaque, and I brush my dog’s teeth with an enzymatic toothpaste almost everyday. So far my vet has said his teeth are fine, and I can save the $700 bucks to clean his teeth.My dog is 4.5 years old, and I’ve only been using this stuff for around 2 weeks. I haven’t noticed too much of a change.I use Wonder Paws Krill/Cod/ Salmon oil, and the liquid glucosamine and it’s awesome. My dog is moving around and is less stiff.I assume it’s going to take about a month to see if the plaque stuff works. It’s definitely cheaper than the competitor’s for the price. It is no substitute for actually brushing your dog’s teeth, but he does seem to have less potent dog breath.So far it’s a we’ll see if it’s worth buying again. The mushroom supplement seems to be worth it.

A lot of product per meal
I bought this to compare it to another brand I had been using for a while. We have three dogs; 50lbs, 60lbs, and 70lbs. For each of them, this calls for 2 scoops because of their sizes. That didnât sound unusual, that was the same instruction as the last brand, the only difference is these scoops are about three times the size⦠each scoop. I was shocked at how large the scoop is and then I had to use two scoops a day for each dog!? It seems like so much. I feel like Iâm dumping so much powder on their food. I spray a light layer of coconut oil on their food for benefits, but it also helps the powder stick, and I felt like it hardly helps this stick. I needed to add more oil so they werenât eating dry powder.I will say that it smells good, almost like a âgreensâ mix I used to use for myself, but I would maybe only recommend this for smaller dogs. I personally wouldnât order this again.

If your dog is a picky eater like mine don’t get this. My dog will not eat at all when I put this powder in there. When I read what this powder does I was so excited. Because my dog does have bad teeth. I thought maybe this would help me save some money from the dentist perfect no I used it once or twice and she did not want to eat it I know there’s other ways to give but she’s not she’s not dumb
