Love it!!!!
The picture with my glasses on is my hair with no product. My hair is very prone to frizz and gets weighed down easily but this products works wonders. It defines my curls/waves so nicely ,makes my hair shine, creates a nice cast, doesn’t make my hair feel stiff , smells wonderful, and doesn’t smell too strong. LOVE IT!

It does give my curls definition, but, my hair does end up kind of dry/frizzy. I’m not sure if this is because of user error or if it’s the product itself. It might be both. My hair is very low porosity so I don’t need very much protein and this has hydrolyzed wheat protein in it. On top of that, I’ve heard that wheat protein is one of the heavier proteins. Please, don’t quote me on that. Please research it yourself to be sure. But maybe the protein content is contributing to the dryness/frizziness of my hair. Or also, I’m just now learning to use a diffuser and sometimes it comes out frizzy – cause I’m still learning. Either way, my hair is very low porosity and doesn’t need much protein, and this possibly has a heavy weight protein in it. So, maybe it’s more for those whose hair needs the protein.Side note: I didn’t know it had protein in it when I bought it. I wasn’t really paying attention to that. Also, I think when I bought it, I didn’t know enough about protein and it’s interaction with lo porosity hair, so I didn’t know what to look for when looking for products.I gave it 4 stars because while on one hand it didn’t work for me, on the other, I don’t completely blame the product because I think it’s just not right for my hair type. If you have high porosity hair, it may work better for you.I think I will keep using it until it’s gone just cause I don’t like wasting money or product. But, I will finish off with a nice oil to counter-balance the frizz/dryness.

I can honestly say, of the dozens of hair products I have tried, Iâve never reviewed one before! This mousse is amazing. I have mixed texture curls, 2c-3b. Iâm usually prone to frizz and dryness but this mousse hydrated my hair so well and does not feel heavy or greasy. I sealed it all in with the custard and even that didnât weigh my hair down. Iâve spent so much time and money on curl products and have never loved any. I FINALLY found one that Iâll buy again!

Product is fine, bottle is defective
The product is pretty good, I’m pretty inexperienced with hair products, but I think it was working pretty well to give some body to my thin and wavy hair. I also like the scent, a bright, fresh, peach scent. But my beef is with the bottle. First off, it leaked in the package, the packaging was a wet, sticky, mess. But it was still mostly full, lost maybe… 1/8 to the packaging? So I decided to use it for a bit to see if I wanted to return it or get it replaced (or just shrug it off). But every time it gets knocked over it leaks everywhere. 2 weeks in, having used it maybe a half dozen times, it’s 3/4 gone just from getting knocked over on the bathroom counter. I’m tired of losing product and I’m tired of cleaning it up. Every time I go into the bathroom and smell peaches I groan knowing there’s yet another puddle of mousse juice.

Controls frizz and defines curl
I have 2C curls and the sides get very frizzy if I donât use any product. I love my Aveda curl controller but it leaves my hair crunchy. The fragrance is ok. It comes out as foam rather than sticky gel so easy to use. Iâm trying different amounts and have found 2 pumps each side is about right. Cost seems reasonable.
