They are waterproof
I wore my new socks to play early morning golfâlots of dew on the fairways. My feet, are always soaked by the 2nd hole. But…. not today. My new Dexshell socks kept my feet dry and warm. They work, are comfortable, and well made.

Keep water below top as much as possible
Works great at keeping feet dry while submerged with one caveat. If the elastic top soaks through then water does get in sock from top. Bought these to use whitewater rafting and they were a life saver. Water was cold but my feet stayed warm and for the most part dry. Will definitely be trying them in late fall/early winter to extend the kayak fishing season in WI

Waterproof and Comfortable!
I don’t usually write reviews, and since I don’t usually write reviews…I don’t really know how to write an actual review! So this will be a review, but contained within a story:So I just went on a fishing trip off the coast of Port Aransas and an enormous oil tanker, along with three tug boats decided to grace our little bait boat with its presence. What started out as calm, gentle, ocean waves that barely nudged us, suddenly became a roiling, vomit inducing series of waves (one of my boys couldn’t handle it and started yakking at the stern) and our boat was getting splashed and started taking on water.I was wearing a water proof jacket, and water resistant pants, but my shoes were anything but. They had good rubber grips which helps avoid slipping, but they were definitely not gonna do well if soaked in water. But here’s the thing…not once did I feel my feet getting wet. Not once did I even consider how these waves, the water, and the lack of water proof shoes was going to wreck my day because I HAD THESE SOCKS ON AND THEY ARE FREAKING MAGICAL.My shoes were soaked through and through, but these glorious socks remained untouched and uber dry the entire 4 hours we were on the water. They are simply fantastic, and you should buy them.

Great waterproof socks!
Must have for under fly fishing waders. I wear these in the winter while wading in freezing water and my feet don’t get cold at all!

Highly recommend. Work exactly as I hoped.
Feels strange, different in your hands and to put on at first. A very thin wetsuit bootie with soft knit inside and knit outside. Like 3 socks bonded together – a knit inner, neoprene middle, and knit outer. About as thin as it could be with 3 layers. Less bulky than you would think. Certainly no need for as additional liner in my opinion. Got to try them out on a 5 mile run today. They fit well and were comfortable in my running shoes. I forgot all about them after I laced up my shoes. Until I stepped in a freezing puddle and my foot did not get wet. 🙂 You can fill this sock with water in the sink and it will hold water. The neoprene liner is waterproof. But in very wet conditions, the water will run down your leg into the sock. So the top knitting of the sock is not a waterproof seal. But water that gets in will stay warmer than cold water continually washing through the shoe and sock. I wear them just like a regular running sock on cold slushy or wet days. These socks work well for me and I am glad to have them. I will wear them running and cycling in Montana on cold wet days in the Spring Fall and Winter. I bought the medium (USA6.5-9mens) and I have a narrow women’s size 10 foot (men’s 8). There would not be room for a liner but as I said I do not feel that I need one. I ordered the right size for me.

Awful smell! Trap the sweat inside the sock.
They do what they are supposed to do. They keep water from reaching your feet. However they also trap moisture inside the sock. Contrary to their description, they absolutely do not breathe.Plus they trap and retain odor.I clean pools for a living and my wife has been mentioning how badly my feet smell when I come home. ðIâve had these socks for 5 weeks now(1 week past the return window) and they have a permanent stink to them.My wife just threw them all away; $100 worth.Would not recommend.I guess Iâll go back to bamboo socks.

Dry feet are a must
They’re water proof…unfortunately the rest of me got wet in the shower. Great socks! I should buy more of these!

I love these socks. I tried other brands which definitely underdelivered, but these socks are great. No more wet feet when I am walking my dog, even when going through thick grass or stepping in puddles. Ordered a second pair.

Los calcetines son tal como aparecen el la página , pero me parecen cortos de caña. Yo los querÃa para usarlos con las botas de moto-trail y claro quedan a mitad de altura requerida.

Used these several times in atrocious conditions under a pair of Altberg leather boots. After 8 hours walking in ankle deep mud, long wet grass and deep puddles my boots do let water in, albeit not much. Using these socks has kept my feet totally dry.Slight negative, they could do to be a bit longer and they are very warm. This will be great in winter but in milder weather my feet were hot.Would recommend.
