Awkward place to put a bandage, but it works!
To be completely blunt, the reason I needed this is That I lost about 60 pounds. Apparently, most of that was in my butt, and I discovered if I sat for a long time, my sacral area would become very sore. These bandages did work. Soon after I purchased these, I purchased a cushion so I didnât end up using all of the bandages.I could see this being a lifesaver to somebody confined in a wheelchair. Being blunt again, if that person needs to have a bowel movement the applied bandage will stay out of the way. The adhesive on the bandage did not irritate my skin nor did it rip my skin coming off.Five out of five stars for this product.

Convenient shape
I had surgery in the middle of my lower back, right at the beginning of my bum, so this shape is great. Doesn’t roll up like a standard square shape.

Dressing gets the job done
Healing the wound is the main goal and this dressing helps 100%!This dressing stays on and helps keep incontinence out of the wound because of the border adhesive. Perfect for frail skin because the adhesive does not tear the skin therefore less skin damageDressing heals sacrum pressure ulcers if applied correctly.

Mixed Experience with Dimora Wound Dressing Sacrum Foam Adhesives
I recently purchased the Dimora Wound Dressing Sacrum Foam Bandages for a pressure sore on the sacrum, but unfortunately, my experience with them was a mix of positives and negatives. Here are my observations:Designed for the sacral region: One of the main reasons I chose these bandages was because they are specifically designed for the sacral area. I appreciated the larger size (7″x7″) and the shape, which seemed like it would provide better coverage and protection.Lack of sticking power: However, I found that these sacrum foam bandages didn’t stick as well as the square-shaped bandages from the same brand. Despite being designed for the sacral region, they had difficulty maintaining adhesion, and several of them fell off or lost their stickiness prematurely particularly closer to the ends where the skin is typically more moist or in areas with higher sebaceous density (such as the perianal area). If the adhesive dissipates under high moisture, then fecal matter could transfer into the wound bed causing delays in healing and possible infection. This weakness compromised the overall effectiveness of the bandages in those specific regions.Reverting to squares: Due to the issues with the sacrum foam bandages, I eventually had to revert back to using the square-shaped bandages instead. They provided better adhesion and stayed in place more effectively, which was disappointing considering the specific design of the sacrum foam bandages. In conclusion, my experience with the Dimora Wound Dressing Sacrum Foam Bandages was a mixed bag. Although specifically designed for the sacral region with a larger size, I found that they lacked proper adhesion and frequently fell off or lost their stickiness. Consequently, I had to revert to using Dimora’s square-shaped bandages instead, which I believe is a superior product for the sacral region despite its awkward and unsuitable shape for that region of the body. It would greatly benefit the product if the adhesive were stronger, particularly in areas with higher moisture or sebaceous density. Ultimately, I was disappointed with their performance when compared to the square bandages from the same brand and will use the squares for the time being as they work great!
